Jungkook wakes up the same day, but hours later. This time his body feels too heavy to move and he can't sit up.
"You're awake again, I see. How are you feeling?" It was that doctor from before, back again. Jungkook looked over at the doctor, blinking slowly because everything just felt like so much work.
Jungkook tried to open his mouth to speak, "Mmm..moving..heavy." Was all he could get out, his voice far more scracthy than when he woke up the first time.
The doctor nodded. "Yes, that'd be the sedative. It's most likely what's causing the lead feeling in your body." He said. He took a glass of water from a table near Jungkooks' bed.
"Here, drink this." He said, helping Jungkook raise his head to drink the water.
After, he felt that he could actually talk now without sounding like he was dead.
"So, who's this, 'Sunshine' person?" The doctor asked cautiously, but Jungkook still felt so heavy and his mind was a bit fuzzy so he couldn't go into hysterics even if he wanted to right now.
So he just took in a deep breath, "He...he's the only one..that gets me...he's the only one that makes me feel...warm and happy.." Jungkook spoke slowly, conscious of his breathing, making sure it stayed even.
And he answered all of the doctors questions after that, and it was odd that they all seemed to be hypothetical, or about his feelings, or about his Sunshine but he answered them nonetheless.
After the doctor seemed to have gotten enough answers out of him, he decided he'd ask a question of his own, "Why...why did my parents put me here? Do they think...I'm crazy?" He asked, voice barely above a whisper because he was scared of the answer.
The doctor just looked at Jungkook before he gave him a sad smile as an answer, and Jungkook released a shakey breath, because it was true.
They thought he was crazy.
And Jungkook didn't know if they were wrong or not.
Jungkook didn't notice the tears falling down his cheeks until the doctor patted his shoulder.
