chapter five

I dryed myself off and put on my baggy Beatles shirt and a pair of black shorts. I put on some fuzzy socks and prepared myself to walk downstairs after what happened with my teacher out in the hallway.

I swear he was going to kiss me and I was going to let it happen. What's wrong with me. What's wrong with you Rose? Seriously.

I walked into the basement and found the guys, my teacher and some other dude all there.

Frank was dancing and Mikey and Ray were talking while my teacher drank something out of a cup and that dude watched a random movie alone. None of them noticed me yet.

"FRANK ANTHONY IERO JR!!!" I shouted.

Everyone stopped what they were doing and looked at me.

Frank turned around and smiled.

"You complete asshole! I can't believe you'd do that to me, you pervert!! " I said walking closer to him. I punched him in the shoulder and slapped him in the back of the head.

"Cagna" I said in Italian and slapped him in the head again. He pouted. "Oh no you dont. Don't pull that shit on me Frank " I said sternly.  He hugged me and picked me up.

"No frankie let me go" I screamed. Mikey laughed at us and everyone else was confused as hell.

"Unicorn save me" I yelled.

Mikey got up and tackled Frank. We rolled on the floor laughing until Frank pinned me down with his body and started tickling me.

I laughed "I SURRENDER! I SURRENDER !! I I S-SAID I S-S-SURRENDER YOU'RE FORGIVEN" I sai inbetween laughs.

He smiled satisfied and helped me up.

He pushed me and I shoved him harder. He ruffled my hair and I slapped his hand away. He squished my cheeks and I groaned at him. I decided to tackle him and we were on the floor wrestling. Everyone was amused with us, I got tired and gave up laying there star fishing it.

"So are you guys together? " I heard my teacher speak up. I literally forgot his name. Mr.... something idk, completely slipped my mind. I don't know what his name is.

Me and frank looked at each other and looked at him. We busted out laughing. We were on the floor holding our stomaches in laughter. He sat there watching, he looks uncomfortable now.

We calmed down after a while "I totally forgot to introduce you guys, my bad" he started laughing.

He cleared his throat. "Gerard, this is my sister Rose. Rose, this is one of my best friends Gerard" something that also slipped my mind, Frank had an older friend that was Mikey brother WHO TEACHES at the school. How did I not put two and two together?

"Do you guys know each other?" he asked when we just looked at each other quietly.

Gerards eyes suddenly got a bit wide for a bit and he blushed a little red "Y-yeah she's my student" he fumbled with the cups in his hands.

Frank had a look of realization on his face.
"Oh yeah! Dude I totally forgot that you got a new job a become a teacher! Mikey didn't you tell Rose about him"

"I forgot, she had already walked off before I could take her to his class and introduce them and it totally slipped my mind too"

Everyone continued what they were doing after our little you forgot to tell who's who.

"Well Gerard, could you pass the remote" I asked after trying to watch what was on. No one seemed to be watching it, that dude who they didn't introduce me to isn't watching it anymore.

He handed me the remote while I surfed for something to watch.

No one bothered to introduce us. I decided to put it on a random comedy movie, since no one wanted to say what they wanted to watch. While the movie loaded, I went upstairs to make some popcorn.

I was sitting on the counter with a spoonful of chocolate pudding from the fridge waiting for the popcorn when I saw Gerard.

I felt really awkward, I'm not going to lie. I felt really really awkward. I cleared my throat putting the pudding down and I started tapping my hands on the side of the counter. He opened the fridge just as the microwave beeped.

I took the bag out and put another one in still sitting there. I let the bag cool down while this one started to cook.

"Do you guys have any ice? Frank slipped and hit his head while jumping on the counter" what an idiot, I leave him alone for 4 minutes and he's downstairs in pain. I wonder how many of his incidents he's had while I was away.

"I don't think so, Frank tends to hurt himself a lot." I thought back to the mall when decided it would be funny to skip 6 stairs bc he thought he'd be invincible, I smiled a little. "I think we have some frozen veggies or something in the freezer" I said taking a spoonful of pudding again swinging my legs back and forth.

He got a bag of frozen corn and shook it showing it to me. He started walking out until he stopped and turned around quickly coming towards me. I didn't know what to do so I held my pudding and spoon tightly watching him come closer with wide eyes.

He stopped right in front of me. "Rose I.... I'm sorry about earlier and uh I really like your hair. I didn't recognize it was you"

"Oh no it's alright, it's Frank's fault actually. Perv thought that was a prank"

He laughed "that's a weird prank"

"Right!!" I heard the microwave ding.

"Aleight popcorn is done, you got the veggies let's go" I jumped off the counter.

We came back downstairs to see Frank on the couch pouting.

"My poor poor brother, what did you do this time" I laughed throwing popcorn in my mouth.

He glared at me while Gerard handed him the veggies. He said something about the bathroom and walked back upstairs.

"Alright boys, what are we watching"

We settled down on a horror movie we've all never seen before. Well idk about Gerard.

Frank sat on the couch with Mikey and Ray.

The other guy sat on the beanbag. I need to learn his name

"Okay, I met everyone here who's he" I asked

"This is Bob. My bad" Frank said sheepishly and Bob waved.

"Nice to meet you Bobby" he smiled at me. He's kinda quiet. Anyways, I got the bed comfy and had my back against some pillows since everyone took the seats.

The movie started and I was stuffing my face with some chocolates I found.

Gerard came back down the stairs and looked at everyone. He decided to sit next to me since there were no seats. I smiled at him and handed him some chocolates.

Some jump scares were popping up and Frank was holding onto Mikey. I started laughing and Mikey pulled frank off him.

"You're such a baby," I laughed. Frank looked at me and threw popcorn my way. 

I looked back at the screen and wasn't expecting someone pop up.  I yelped, dropped my popcorn and hid behind Gerard.

"Who's the baby now" Frank laughed. I stuck my tounge out at him and stayed behind Gerard after it kept getting scarier.

I felt him tense, but soon relaxed. I found myself getting sleepy from how warm his body was. I kinda drifted off on his shoulder.
