More crashing sounds followed and plates fell to the ground. You were hiding in a room, behind the closed door. You hug three of your sisters in your arms, each one of them weeping silently. You embraced them quietly, listening to the two adults fighting.
"I'm leaving!" You heard the man picked up something and walked out the door.
"Please... the children..!" The woman begged. "Have you ever thought about their feelings?!"
"Get away!" The man shoved the woman and she fell down.
You heard the door close, all that was left was silence, accompanied by the crying sounds of the woman. You looked at the three girls you were hugging. You pat each of them and started to head out. Before you could open the door, one of them gently grabbed your clothes. You turned around and saw one of them holding on, weeping.
"Onii-chan... where are you going?" She asked, still weeping.
"I'm going to stop Dad," you gave her a determined smile. "I will make sure he comes back to us."
"You promise?" Asked another girl on the floor, weeping along with them.
"Mm," you pat each of them and head out the door.
Just as you ran a few steps outside, you felt the floor give way, making a large hole in it. You fell down the deep abyss, falling and falling, hands outstretched to the man walking towards the taxi...
You jolted upwards, hands flailing in the air. You panted hard, swallowing deep breaths. You were in bed, the clock showing '6.30'. You realized you were sweating hard for whatever reason.
