Chapter 5 : Unexpected

      It has almost been a week since that incident. After further medical check-up, it was confirmed your ankle was indeed fractured due to the concussion from the metal pole. As a result, you had to stay home from school for a few days. In between school hours, your sisters would take 'extra care' of you, which includes giving you a bath, spoon-feeding you, giving you a 'massage' and this sort of stuff, which you kindly rejected.

       Despite you being depressed about your leg, because you couldn't move around freely due to the injury, the mood lightened when your sisters were around. They would always cause you to smile from their actions.

         On January 20, you were at home alone. Since your sisters had school, you had no one else to talk to. The whole house was quiet, only inhabitated by you. You sat up from your bed and went to change. Despite your fractured ankle, it was getting better and you estimate to be able to return to school a few days later.

          You changed and decided to go out the house for a walk, since you were bored being alone at home. You locked the front doors and decided to head to a small shopping lot a few blocks away from home to just walk around for a little while until it was about time for your sisters to return.

         It took you 15 minutes to walk. Along the way, your mind replayed the event that happened last week.

          The police did in fact questioned Okubo's gang on why they were willing to go as far as kidnapping three students. Their replies were because they were jealous of them and wanted to have them all for themselves. It was a little crazy, but for some reason they wanted to kidnap them for their own benifits, and it includes injuring others.

        You could only sighed at their actions after you found out.

"No matter what, I will never let you go," you told Yuzu, Fuyu and Kuyu. They responded with cheerful smiles.

        However, for their charm to be able to get them involved into almost kidnapping case, it was a serious problem. Ever since middle school, they have attracted the eyes of many guys, and got proposed to countless times. They would always politely turn them down, but for it to escalate to trouble was unthinkable. It was like someone who was too desperate to get someone or something to take drastic measures like so.

          You were brought back to reality when you bumped into someone. The person you bumped into was an old woman. She accidentally dropped the bag of fruits in her arm. You immediately apologized and bent over to pick them up. Your ankle hurts a little to your motion, but it was your fault. After that, the old woman gave you a smile and told you not to worry. With that, she went off slowly.

        You made a mental note to not build castles in the air while walking on the road next time. Still, it was hard for you to get rid of the image of Okubo's terrorizing face when he was about to strike Fuyu. You clenched your teeth and tightened your fists in your pocket. You were reminded of Fuyu's face when she was about to get hit, which led to more rage inside you.

        You tried to distract yourself from such matters, but the more you tried not to think about it, the more the haunting face of Okubo came to your mind.

        As you unknowingly entered a small alley, your mind was still filled with horror thoughts on what would happen to Fuyu if she didn't managed to dodge the attack. Your breathing became rapid with every step you take, as imaginary screams filled your ears. Next was an unfamilliar voice, but it was not an imaginary one.

       You could hear a few people chattering in an alley connected to yours, like a crossroad of sort. With a hood covering your head, you turned your head to the other direction of the dirty alley to see what was going on.
