As you and your sisters grew up and walked into society to work, the first thing that you did was get a job. Having graduated from university and all, you took a regular job under a firm that you had been interested in. You managed to get into it after the interview and started working there full-time. All your sisters have their individual life as well: Yuzu being a singer, Kuyu continuing to get her Master degree, Fuyu working at another company, Tio being a model, Etsu working as a freelancer photographer, Senna becoming a young entrepreneur and Renna as a secretery. All of you had separated since high school, each one of you pursuing your own career, but you all still stayed in the same home. The only difference was that you all rarely ate at the same time again due to different work schedules.

It had been 2 years since you started dating your girlfriend, Yumi. You two met in college, where you pursued your degree. Following on to graduating from university and starting to work, you two started dating each other. Of course, your sisters weren't too happy when they found out about this, but they couldn't do anything about it when they saw you so happy. Despite their crestfallen faces, they wished the two of you a happy life together.

You and Yumi held hands and kissed occasionally, not stepping over the border yet as you two thought it wasn't the right time. You wanted to wait until you were seriously considering to marry her before you make the next move on her to further deepen your relationship. For now, you wanted to have a stable job and life before eventually moving out of your old house and buying one to live together with Yumi. With your current pay and position in the firm, you were almost done with all the preparations. All that was left was to surprise her with an engagement ring.

As December approaches, snow drenched the town in a thick coat of white. Carols filled the air, with people wandering around town, in search of a gift for their beloved friends and families. Among the bustling crowd, you had your arms dug deep into your pockets, desperate to keep yourself warm despite the mittens you had on. You always had a bad time dealing with the cold, but this time the cold won't be stopping you.

Walking into the jewellery shop, you came back out with a bag in hand. Inside the bag contained the ring in a small box that you planned to give Yumi that night. Having consulted your sisters multiple times, they unwillingly gave you advice on how to pick a correct ring so it wouldn't be too fancy or too plain. Then again, it was just an engagement ring so you didn't want to outdo yourself. It was an expensive gift, alright, considering it was just an engagement ring, but you didn't mind. You had saved up your money for the sole purpose of that.

Just then, your phone buzzed gently. You quickly took it out from one of your pockets and saw it was a text from Yumi. Smiling to yourself, you read the message she had sent you and found out that she was asking to meet up with you later on for dinner. Agreeing to her request, you decided to go over and get her from her workplace later on. Clenching the string of the bag tightly, you smiled to yourself, filled with confidence that your proposal would go well. She wasn't expecting it from you, so you hoped this would surprise her greatly.

"Onii-chan?" A familiar voice came from behind you as you started walking.

Turning around, you came face-to-face with Fuyu. As the years passed, Fuyu had gotten even more charming than she was. Her charisma slowly changed, although she was still a little shy around others. All your sisters became beauties, without excluding Fuyu. No matter how much Fuyu changed, you still will not forget those heterochromatic eyes that stared at you passionately.

"H-Hey, Fuyu. Fancy meeting you here," you smiled nervously and hid the bag behind your back. "What are you up to?"

"Doing shopping and all until I met you," Fuyu narrowed her eyes at you and eyed the jewellery shop you came out from. "What are you doing here?"
