The twosome woke abruptly the next morning, to the sound of a blaring alarm. They had fallen asleep together on Will's bed, deciding to try and have an all-nighter. They struggled to get out of the bed, as their legs were tangled and Sarah's head was resting on Will's chest. Eventually, Will fell off the bed and they were separated at last (to their slight dismay). "Well, I'd better go home and get ready for school. See you in 10?" Will smiled as he got to his feet and opened the door for her. "Yeah, see you soon." Sarah smiled and walked out, sneaking past his mother's room.

Slipping out of the door, she sprinted down the street, arriving at her house soon after. She opened the door, silently praying that Ezra would be gone. She snuck into her room, just in case and managed to get in, seemingly unnoticed. She slipped on her navy blue sundress, black tights, and red Doc Martins, grabbing her backpack before slipping out into the kitchen. She almost made it out without being seen, before she was seen. "Mornin' Sarah," She groaned inwardly, Ezra's voice confirming her fears. She turned around to face his bare torso. "Shouldn't you be getting to school?" She blinked and turned her eyes away from his incredibly distracting bare chest. "I'm just leaving now," she replied frankly.
"Where were you last night? Did you stay the night at Will's?" He asked, wiggling his eyebrows slightly. Sarah's mouth dropped at his inappropriate suggestion, and she scoffed, abruptly storming out of the room and out of the house. Will was about to knock when she opened the door. He was wearing a white sweater shirt with black stripes, navy pants, black Doc Martens, a straw hat and a light brown overcoat. And his trusty watch, of course. "Hello milady. I don't have to ask to know Ezra stayed the night."
"Yup. And he basically implied that we slept together last night."
"Well, I saw that comi- wait, what?"
"Yeah, it's crazy. Even my Aunt said that we were the biggest case of 'will they, won't they'. I thought she'd be glad that I was a virgin." Will was flabbergasted, to say the least. His face was beet red, as he muttered: "Yeah, that's crazy." The bus arrived on time, to their relief, dispersing the awkward tension around them. Swerving dangerously close to the curb like it did every day, the doors swung open to reveal Carl's warm smile.

The doors swung open to reveal Carl's body, crushed against his seat, glass and dry blood everywhere, and a bullet hole in his head. Dark blood coated his face, yet it was peaceful. He looked like he was asleep. Sarah cried out at the sight, he was innocent, he didn't deserve this. She cried out for Will, for Ben, for Leo, for anyone around, but her cries were not heard. Sinking to her knees, she was ready to give up.

"Sarah? Woah, atta' girl. Come on, up you get." Sarah had fallen to her knees in front of the bus, earning her puzzled stares from the students on the bus. She clutched her head in confusion, feeling a tear slip down her cheek, as she looked up to see Carl was helping her stand, no blood or bullet holes in sight. "Hey darlin', you alright? You had us worried, you just spaced out! Come on, let's get you to school." She was relieved to see that he was okay, but still shaken up from the sight she had seen not two seconds ago. Will had taken her hand, and was guiding her on to the bus, her feet subconsciously moving while her head was swimming. This was the sixth time she'd had such a vivid daydream, but she couldn't even tell if they were daydreams. Something about them felt so real. "Sarah, what was that? You know, you're starting to worry me. Are you alright?" Sarah snapped out of her daze and faced her friend, smiling at the worried expression on his face. "Yeah, I'm fine. What's the selection for today, love?" He faltered for a second, glancing at her hesitantly, before shaking his head and grabbing his phone out, giving her an earphone and placing in it his ears like every morning. "Well, I've been into Childish Gambino lately, and so I bought his newest album. This is my favorite song ATM, so if you are gonna criticize, be nice please." Sarah chuckles and pushes his shoulder.
"I'll have you know, I'm very much into Childish. I love his music, it's so sexy."
"Well, he himself is very sexy."

"You don't have to say anything Sarah. I know how you feel about me,"  A handsome man with soft green eyes stood in front of her, his warm hand cupping her face. Before she could reply, he pulled her into a soft kiss. Stunned, she remained still for a moment, eventually letting her eyes flutter shut. Slowly, she returned the kiss, wrapping her hands around his neck.

"Sarah? Dude, your face is all red, are you sure you're okay?" Will reached up to feel her head, but Sarah flinched away, breathing heavily and blushing like a tomato. "U-uh d-don't w-worry," she replies, attempting to regain her composure. "I'm perfectly fine, thank you." She said with finality. Will put his hands up defensively, muttering something about 'trying to help'. Sarah ignored him and tuned out, focusing on the song in the hopes of forgetting the incredibly confusing vision she had just had. And to think it was a man (key word being 'man') that she had never met nor seen before. At least, she thought she hadn't. Something about him was oddly familiar to her. And very attractive. She shook her head dismissively, tuning into the song.

'I'm in love when we are smoking that la-la-la-la-la....'

The pair arrived at school, once again, to the chaotic jungle of overly-horny teenagers. They glanced at each other and rolled their eyes in perfect sync. Brushing past, they entered the asylum, making a beeline towards their lockers. They tossed their bags in and grabbed their books for their first class, English. This happened to be Sarah's favorite class. "Did ya hear that a substitute has been hired as a temp for Mr. Waters? People say he's missing!"
"What? Why didn't you tell me? He was such a great teacher. I hope he's okay."
"Relax, I'm sure he's fine." Somehow, Sarah didn't find that very reassuring. She had a bad feeling about that. A bad feeling that disappeared when she walked into her English classroom and saw her teacher. "Oh my god," She whispered, almost inaudibly. He looked up at her and smiled. Sarah could have sworn she'd seen a flicker of recognition on his face.

It was him. The man from the vision she had on the bus. Sarah stood there, gaping, as she remembered the details of her daydream and associated them with the temp standing before her. "Sarah, is that you?" he said, smiling at her. At first, she couldn't recognize him, as her mind was distracted by the images that had played out in her head on the bus, but then it clicked. "Andy? Is that you?"

AN// Just so you know, in my story, Andrew is 24, and Sarah is 17, turning 18. I'll elaborate a little more on their past in the next chapter, and you'll see their connection evolve throughout the story. I know the age difference and social standings are weird, but this relationship is important to the plot.
