Many years ago, there was once a group of powerful wizards and they were known as the tamers. These types of wizards had special magical abilities and they used their power to calm and tame animals and magical creatures. However, not all of the magical creatures liked these wizards and they didn't trust them not one bit. On one fateful night, the dragon king, Apocolypse, came and he nearly destroyed all of the Tamers. Some of them managed to escape from the dragon king's attack and no one knew when the Tamers were going to come back...
A few years have passed since that day, everyone thought that the Tamers didn't exist anymore but, in a small village in a countryside filled with Magical creatures and animals, called Skystead, lived a young girl named Keira Misaki. Keira discovered her power as a Tamer at a young age and as she got older she was then sent to Gendonelune Royal Magic Academy. However, she was only there for 13 days because she was a provisional student and after she finished the trial the scale of judgement was supposed to decide to let her in as an official student at the Academy but she failed due to her magical energy being unstable.
Once Keira returned to her village, her father was not pleased with her news. So for at least three months Keira's father, the dark wizard and Guild master Ivan, put her through strict training until she got stronger and when she has her magical energy under control. After spending those months of going through her father's training she was finally stronger and her magical energy was now under control. Keira then got another second chance at the Academy, however, this time no trial was needed since her father was able to convince the Headmaster to let her become an official student at the Academy. This is where her story begins...
KEIRA'S POV
I stood near the lake, staring at the horizon until my friend, Twilight the Unicorn, came over to me. I smiled at him and Twilight then sapoke up.
"So it's almost time for you to leave this village huh?" I nodded my head at his question.
"Yes, it is, you and I both know what needs to be done and also it's still my goal to become a powerful Tamer, just like how my mother's goal was."
I spoke as I ran my fingers through Twilight's long mane. He smiled at me when I said this. Twilight then stood back a little and he spoke up.
"In that case, take this with you, for luck."
A fraction of Twilight's horn came off and it floated slowly towards me. I held out both hands and the horn fragment landed in the palm of my hands. Twilight then spoke up again.
"This is my horn fragment, I know that some people have heard that we unicorns are proud of our horns but, I figured you might be needing this for luck, keep it safe, Keira."
I smiled at Twilight and I hugged his neck. Twilight rests his head on my shoulder and I spoke up.
"Thank you, Twilight."
I released Twilight's neck and he stood back from me so he can shake his head to fix his mane. Before Twilight left, he spoke to me once more.
"Farewell my friend."
Twilight turned around and he cantered off back into the forest. I smiled at where he disappeared to and I looked at the horn fragment that he gave me. I put the horn in my pocket and I then left the forest. My familiar Rin, a Nekomanta demon, was sitting next to me on the train and we were on our way to the Academy.
