The Ice Emperor, Sora

KEIRA'S POV

Dreamworld...

I opened my eyes and I looked around and I realised that I was back in the village. I was confused at what was going until I heard a girl laughing. I turned around and it was my younger self with my mother and Sora. I then remembered this memory, it was before mother got killed in battle. Sora got in front of my mother and he asked her.

"Master, when are you going to teach us some powerful spells?"

Mother looked surprised and she then said to Sora.

"Sora, I've told you a few times before, your ice magic gives you creative freedom, the more you use it the more powerful it can get and besides, you and Keira are not ready to use advanced spells yet, they're still too powerful for you to use."

My younger-self nodded her head in agreement before she spoke up.

"Mother's right, try and wait until we're ready and also, I'm still having trouble with my ice magic anyway."

Mother pets my younger self's head and said to her.

"That's my girl, come on, let's go and do some more training."

I watched as how the three of us walked past me and then the scene changed drastically. I looked around and I realised that the village was on fire. I didn't know what was going on for a moment until I saw Ignites flying above the burning village. I thought to myself.

'Oh no! not this memory again!!'

I watched as how some of the villagers and some of the members of the Dragonsheild guild were running away from the flames. I then saw my mother fighting off Ignitus with her ice magic and she was panting with exhaustion. I watched as how Mother looked at me and said to me.

"Keira are you all right?"

"My leg hurts a little but I'm all right."

Mom smiled at me and she then looked at the fire dragon and she said,"Looks like he's due to find us and soon."

I then noticed that her left leg was missing and she had replaced it.

"Mother! your leg!"

Mother smiled at me and said to me.

"You've noticed, I lost the real one during the dragon's attack but this one will do as a replacement for a while."

Mother then looked at the fire dragon and she then spoke up.

"Listen Keira, I need you to go and find Sora once you do that, you two go and find your brothers you'll be safe with them, I'll deal with this fire dragon once and for all."

My eyes widen and I knew exactly what was going to happen. My younger self and I shouted in unison.

"What?! No! don't be so foolish!! Don't sacrifice yourself for anything! I need you!!"

Mother looked at me and she then said to me.

"I know, but my sacrifice won't be for nothing, I did to protect my home and my family."

Mother then starts to walk away from me and then the fire dragon saw her and he growled at her. I stood there in fear and not knowing what to do. Mom then crossed over her arms and then her ice magic surrounded her body. I covered my eyes not wanting to look and I heard her shout.

"Iced seal!!"

A bright light appeared and after it died down I looked up and I saw the fire dragon frozen on the spot and I watched as how Mother fell onto the ground and she laid there motionless. My younger self ran over to her and we both started crying.
