Hakko's First Day

HAKKO'S POV

We got to the Academy and Carbuncle was excited. I looked at Keira and she smiled at the sight of the Academy.

"Well here we are, I hope your Academy life goes well for Hakko."

"I hope so too."

Keira and I headed to the dorms, I was lucky that I met Keira on the train otherwise I would have gotten myself lost since Keira told me that she also got lost as well when she first came here. We got to the dorms and once we entered the doors and then a woman came over to us.

"Welcome back Keira and I see you've brought the new student with you, you're Hakko Izuma aren't you?"

I nodded my head and she then spoke up.

"Welcome to the Academy, Hakko, I'm the housemother and I'm also glad you've run into Keira, otherwise you might have gotten lost like how she did."

Keira sweat dropped and then her familiars and I giggled at her. The housemother then said to Keira.

"Keira you go off to your room I will deal with Hakko."

Keira nods her head and she then looked at me.

"OK, see you around Hakko."

Keira leaves and the housemother then looked back at me and she notices Caruncle on my shoulder.

"I see you've got a familiar with you as well, I need you to fill out a form for that and you haven't got a roommate yet."

"It's fine, I don't mind."

After I filled out the form that the house mother gave me, I headed to my room and I noticed that my room was across from Keira's. I smiled at this and I then went into my room. Carbuncle jumped off my shoulder and he ran around in the room taking in his surroundings. I giggled at him and I then put away my stuff in the wardrobe and desk drawers. I looked at the rules while Carbuncle was rolling about on my bed.

I got a little bored after a while, so I got my cards from my pouch that was attached to my belt of my uniform. Carbuncle watched as I got one of my zodiac cards and I said the incantation for one of the Zodiac cards.

"Come forth zodiac of the lion! Leo!"

Leo came out of his card and he smiled at me.

"Hi there Hakko."

"Good to see you again Leo, fancy a game of cards?"

Leo nods his head and we both sat down on my bed we did talk for a while. Carbuncle was resting my pillow and I took another card from Leo making me the winner.

"Oh man, I lost again!"

"Better luck next time."

Leo then asked me.

"So what do you think of that Keira person? from what I've heard from Gemini, she's a strong Tamer."

"Yeah I know, she seems interesting I'll give her that much."

I took one of the sealed cards and I looked at the weapon that was sealed away. It was the same weapon that my father got from Zara before she passed away. 

"But the question is she worthy of using this?"

I showed Leo the card and he nodded his head in agreement.

"One way to find out is to learn more about her and see how powerful she is."

"Good point."

Leo waved goodbye to me before heading back to the spirit world. I caught his card and I placed it back in my pouch and I got ready for bed. I stared at the ceiling after switching the lights off and I thought to myself.
