KEIRA'S POV
"All right everybody! this is the moment we've been waiting for! the Ice Tamer Keira Mitsui from Gendonlune Academy..!"
I smirked when it's now finally my turn.
"About time, finally I get a turn."
"Good luck and I hope you do a better start than me."
Sora said in an embarrassment tone and then Hakko spoke up.
"Word of advice, try and keep your powerful spells under a very low profile unless it's necessary and that includes using your magical weapon."
"Thanks, Hakko, here I go!"
I said with a cocky grin and I headed towards the arena and then the announcer spoke up.
"Verses! the lovely Laura Frost of Zomiara!"
Laura got to the battlefield and she waved the crowd happy.
"Hey everyone! wish me luck!"
The boys' wolf whistled at her and they cheered for her as well. I sweat dropped and I thought to myself.
'Oh great, my opponent is a showoff and a weirdo, but still, I should try and at least follow Hakko's advice, after all, looks can be deceiving.'
Laura looked at me with a smile and she then said to me.
"Hiya! I'm Laura! it's nice to meet you Mitsui!"
"Uhh...yeah, it's nice to meet you too."
"I'm sorry if I'm a bit hyper but it's just how I am."
Laura said with a smile. The announcer then spoke up.
"It looks like there's a bit of a friendly competition going on down there, but, don't let them deceive you folks these two lovely ladies are both strong."
"I agree, Keira is one of the most powerful tamers I've known for a while now, she's even gotten stronger as well."
Headmaster Randolph said happily but then, the headmistress of Pixia Academy spoke up.
"Is that so? well, it's funny you should mention her power, she maybe Zara's daughter but, let's not forget she's also got that dark wizard's blood running through her veins."
I frowned when she mentioned my Father and then the crowd started to whisper about me.
Man 1: "She's right, I heard Keira was with that criminal's guild for a while."
Man 2: "Well, what did you expect? like Father, like daughter as they say."
Woman 1: "Two peas in a pod, I'd say."
Woman 2: "I wonder if she's going to use Dark magic on that poor girl."
Several tick marks appeared on my head when I heard their whispers about me.
"Easy Keira, you don't want to lose your temper now, especially when you're in the arena."
I shook my head and I looked at Vincent.
"Right, sorry Vincent."
"Just try and keep a cool head, I don't wanna get blamed by our elder brother for your recklessness, AGAIN."
I glared at Vincent when he said this and I said to him.
"Gee, thanks for the vote of confidence, NOT!!"
Vincent chuckled when I shouted at him and then he said to us.
"OK, when you two ladies are ready...BEGIN!!"
