Chaper 28

Two weeks passed by very fast and Baekhyun became busier and busier. You couldn't reach him anytime anymore. But the last time you two spoke was a couple of days ago, when he said that he needs to go back to Korea soon. His vacation has ended and you couldn't do anything about it. Exo was having a new comeback really soon. They even practiced in their vacation. You were really fascinated by the fact they were still full of energy, you would be dead by now. Their endurance is really high. Y/n, we have to go back, there's no problem if you want to go with us but I can understand you need some time with you family. You just have to decide for what's best for you okay? Baekhyun's words flew through your mind. "What's best for me?" You said to yourself. You didn't know. You wanted to stay in____ with Baekhyun, together with your family. But that wasn't an option. Your sister would really miss you if you left. But you weren't sure if you could handle being alone, knowing that Baekhyun is on the other side of the world, without you. Of course he wants you to come with him but you knew he would understand you decision, whatever it is. After a lot of struggling you made a decision.

"Baby, it's nice to hear your voice!" You smiled through the phone when you heard his cute exited voice. "Baekhyunnie...." "do you miss me cutie?" "Yes of course I do... but I didn't call you to say that. Baekhyun, I made my decision and I came to the conclusion that I wanted to stay here longer." "Ah, that's good then y/n, I'm staying only two days from now, do you want to spend the last two days with me?" "But you'll be practicing, right?" "Yeah but I'll talk to the boys, you can watch me and after I'm done, we could have some time for ourselves." "Sounds good, let's stay together for those two days." "Y/n, I love you..." his voice made you shiver. You were holding back your tears. "I love you too, my baekhyunnie." "I need to hang up now, I'll pick you up from your house in about one hour." "Okay, see you then!"

In the meantime, you took a shower and made yourself ready to meet Baekhyun. You made the right decision, right? You have responsibilities here, like your work and taking care of your little sister. These were the most important to you. You needed to let Baekhyun go to Korea and let him do what he needs to do. After that, you would meet each other again. You hope Baekhyun won't misses you too much. He hates being separated from you. You were lost in thoughts again when you heard a pling coming from your phone. It was a message from Baekhyun, saying he was in front of your house. You rushed your way downstairs and opened the door quickly. You ran towards him and hugged him tight. "Haha sweetheart, are you okay?" Baekhyun giggled. You chuckled and pulled away. He smiled and opened the door for you.

After a while, you were at the dorm watching Baekhyun dance in front of you. He was alone, the rest of EXO weren't here with him and it made you wonder why. Baekhyun realized you stared a bit too long and laughed. His moves were really smooth and you could see sweat drops all over his body. He was so hot. You really loved the red haired Baekhyun. It made him like 10 times hotter. He was so busy and really tried hard to make it perfect. It made you worry a bit. He kept dancing for a long time. But suddenly, you heard a hard bang. You saw Baekhyun fall on the ground. "Omg are you okay?!" You ran to him to help him stand up. "It's okay, it happens often especially when I get a little too fanatic. Maybe I'm just a little tired." "Baekhyun.... you need a break." You said with worried eyes. He stretched out and smiled. "Y/n, don't worry." His voice didn't make you worry less but even more. You walked towards the water bottle and gave it to Baekhyun. "Here drink some water." He thanked you and took a sip. "You know, seeing you working this hard makes me feel bad. How long have you been practicing today? Or this whole week? It's too much for a human being. And look at your sweat, come here I'll dry it for you." You pulled up his shirt and grabbed a towel to dry his sweat on his bare body. "Listen, I'm not a good dancer that's why I need more practice, to keep up with the rest of EXO. I suck." You stopped for a moment and watched him being all frustrated. You were confused. How could he say that? He's an amazing dancer, who told him he isn't? "Did you call that bad dancing? Baekhyun, you don't need to think like this, it's only in your head. You're a really amazing dancer and I just saw that, with my own two eyes." You walked towards him to take his hand. "You don't need to do this, trust me." He sat down on the bench behind him, hands covering his face. He seemed so down and stressed. It made you feel ever worse. "Baekhyun.... let's stop for now, let's go to the supermarket. We need to do groceries for tonight. I'll cook dinner for us." He nodded and stood up to hug you tight. "Without you here, I could not have done this. You are my everything y/n.." you smiled and let him hug you completely.

"Hmm" you were thinking hard if you should buy the biological chicken or the normal chicken which is way cheaper. "I don't know Baekhyun-ah, what should we do?" He suddenly hugged you from behind. "Let's do the biological one babe." We're going to make the best dinner ever."

"Y/n! Let's buy a lot of snacks too." "Yes sure choose whatever you want, baekhyunnie." Baekhyun was too cute to handle again. How could a grown man be so cute? Grocery shopping was never this fun to do. Suddenly someone bumped into you. "Auch.." you fell down on the floor and hurt your butt. "Y/n, are you okay?" You looked up to see Chris' face. His eyes were dark and he looked like he was really tired. "Oh.. I'm sorry." He apologized sarcastically and his tone made you somehow really annoyed. Baekhyun helped you to stand up. Chris looked angry and pushed his way through you and Baekhyun. "Wow what's that guy's problem jeez." Baekhyun said annoyed. "That was Chris..." "oh you knew him?" Baekhyun asked confused. "Yeah I met him a few times, but everytime we met, it's very weird and awkward... but never mind let's continue, we don't have all the vegetables yet." You and Baekhyun continued and after you were done, you headed back home. You and Baekhyun were at the point of crossing the road but suddenly a motorcycle appeared out of nowhere. "Y/n!!! Watch out!!" Baekhyun yelled as he grabbed your arm to pull you back. It felt like slow motion and you were in shock. The driver watched you before he turned around and disappeared. "My god, y/n what was that?" Baekhyun looked at you with worry. You couldn't believe what just happened. If Baekhyun wasn't here, you could have a really bad accident. It was so damn close. "Y/n, you're okay right?" He watched you from close. You smiled. "Yeah I'm okay Baekhyun." "Pfff good. It was scary you know." "Yeah it was, it was really close too..... it felt like it wasn't an accident..." you were thinking hard. "Hahaha y/n what are you talking about? Don't tell me you think that person actually wanted to hit you?" "I really think so Baekhyun, the way the driver watched behind, I couldn't see his face because of the helmet but it was really strange..." "you make me scared, I don't want you to think like that y/n." You looked in baekhyun's eyes straight, smiling. "Sorry, maybe I'm overthinking. Like I always do....."
