Chapter 25

You woke up and searched for Baekhyun but you couldn't find him anywhere. He must have gone to the rest of the boys already, you thought by yourself. After 10 minutes, you went downstairs to see your mother standing in the kitchen, preparing the breakfast for you and your little sister. You haven't seen each other for a week and you have missed her. She heard you coming closer and turned around. She smiled and walked towards you to hug you. Your plan was to tell her the big news as fast as possible. "Honey! I thought I heard something this morning, was Baekhyun here?" She smiled brightly. "Yeah he was, you don't know where he was going right?" She shook her head. You thought by yourself. Should you tell her the news now? Or should you wait for Baekhyun to come and tell it with him, together. You decided to do the last one. Your mother was already busy with cooking again. "How was the vacation?" Your mother asked while she was cutting unions. "Oh mom, it was amazing. Baekhyun picked such a nice place. My god just thinking about it again makes my heart weak." You fell back into the cough. "Hmm were was it?" "It was at an hotel by the sea. We had such a beautiful view, especially when the sun went down." "I'm glad you enjoyed your time with Baekhyun. Oh and I know I haven't been the best mom in the world lately but I want to make up with you. Let's go to some place like that later too!" "Yeah sure, sounds great." Suddenly your phone rang. At the screen it says Baekhyun so you picked up right away.
"Baekhyun....." "Hi sweetie. I'm sorry I had to leave before you woke up this morning. I had some stuff to do, my manager called me." "Oh don't worry! It's okay I understand." "Thank you baby. But that was not the reason I called you though. I wanted to say that I want to tell the boys the news with you, together. If you can, tomorrow night. I'm sure you missed them too so you can talk with them for a while." "Yes omg I'd love to go and see the boys again! And yeah I thought exactly the same." You lowered your voice so your mother couldn't hear it anymore. "I want to tell my mother when you're here too, I think that's better." "I agree haha let's do that. Oh and I can't sleep with you this night. I need to practice till late so I'll stay at the dorm." "Huh? Oh..... it's already time to practice again..." "You sounds so sad... don't be like that. I wish I could stay with you but yeah it's hard right now. I hope you understand." "Oh course I understand Baekhyun. But we just got back from our little break. But yeah, you need to do what you need to do, right? I'll miss you..." "Thank you, I'll miss you too sweetheart. Yeah I know, but I need to. Oh I need to go now. I'll talk to u later!" And he hung up. You were disappointed at the sudden message. Although you could really understand he was busy, you just felt irritated at the moment. You thought a bit by yourself and you realized you hadn't told the big news to your best friend yet. You immediately searched for her number. "Y/n!! Hello~~" "hey! Do you have time to grab some lunch with me this afternoon? I need to tell you so much omg." "Haha okay, this afternoon will work. What time?" "Hmm what about 2 AM?" "Yeah sure, see you then!" "Okay, bye!" You jumped from the couch and ran upstairs. You haven't seen your friend lately. Only a few times, when you were having lunch together but nothing more so you were really excited to meet her again. You had to tell her so much what happened between you and Baekhyun, the whole trip, the proposal and maybe a little bit about Chris? Chris wasn't much it in the picture and obviously not important but you had the feel to tell her about him. You were busy picking something nice from your closet while thinking about everything you wanted to say to your friend. You found your comfy sweater and simple jeans so you put them on. The sweater was baekhyun's. He gave it to you a while ago. It was oversized and you loved how it fitted on you.

After breakfast with your little family you made your way towards the cafe you and your friend always loved. You arrived and you saw her sitting on a table already. She smiled and waved excitedly to you the moment she saw you. You walked into the cafe and walked towards the little table. You wanted to cry from happiness because you were so glad to see her after such a long time. "Y/F/N!!" You shouted and attacked her with a hug and a million kisses. "I missed you so much!" She shouted while holding you tight. You were almost jumping together from excitement. You two stared at each other, smiling like idiots while everyone in the cafe was watching you. You broke the silence and began to talk. "So yeah I wanted to tell you about the little trip." You saw her eyes widening and moved closer. After you were done with your whole story you told the most exiting part. "And at the last night, while we were watching the sunset, he suddenly kneeled down. And I froze at the spot I was standing. My mind went blank. Like really blank... I didn't know what was happening. IM SERIOUS. My heart stopped at the moment he grabbed the little box with the ring out of his pocket." You moved your hand with finger which wore the beautiful ring. "Thinking about the moment makes me wanna cry again." You were dramatically waving your hands into your face to stop the tears. "Omg I can't believe this. HE JUST PROPOSED TO YOU. I can't believe this I'm so happy for you. Congratulations!!" She wiped her tears away and stood up to hug you tight. You realized you were now crying too and you hugged her tighter.
You ordered some coffee after the little cakes you both loved from the time you were little kids. You were so happy right now. You were finally happy again, thanks to Baekhyun. You loved the feeling of happiness. You felt like nothing could ruin your mood at the moment. You really missed it this feeling....

After the long talk and a lots of laughing your friend asked you to have a sleepover at her's tonight. You were on your way to your friends house. She don't live with her parents anymore, she live in a small apartment near your house. "Y/f/n, how are things going with chanyeol? You liked each other right?" You gave her a wink and she smiled. "It's okay between us, nothing special at the moment." "Huh is there something wrong?" "No no it's nothing. But it's just that I don't see him often. He's always practicing, even when exo is having a vacation right now." She sounded not happy and it made you quite sad too because you were having exactly the same problem with Baekhyun. "Why do they call this an holiday, if they're still practicing here?" You lifted up your shoulders. "I don't understand either. Are they going to have a comeback soon? Maybe that's why they're practicing." "Doesn't that mean they have to go to Korea really soon then?" You saw the worried look in your friend's eyes. You began to worry too. What if baekhyun's going to leave you again? "But hey, let's not worry about it, we should watch some horror movies right now! Do you have popcorn?" Your friend brightened up quickly and jumped up from the cough and walked towards the kitchen to grab some snacks. Best Fiends Night, here we go!!
