Coincidence?

Chapter 29

"Baekhyun, do you got everything?" You were in your room, searching around to see if he forgot something. "Y/n, my plane takes off in about 3 hours from now, we're late. I've got everything, don't stress so much cutie." You couldn't help it. You were nervous and anxious at the same time. You didn't know what to think about this, you suddenly wanted to go with Baekhyun but you just couldn't do that. It was driving you crazy. "Hey, are you listening?" You stopped at your spot and turned around to face a worried puppy. It was 5:00 in the morning and you were really sleepy. "Come, Let's go to the airport." You suggested. You grabbed his arm and pulled him downstairs with you. The manager was waiting and you could see the rest of exo waiting, in front of your house. They were nervously calling and walking around. When Suho saw you two he let out a loud sigh. "There you are. Let's go or else we will be late, the bodyguards are already at the airport."

You sat next to Baekhyun in the car and it felt like the whole ride, which lasted over 2 hours, was way too short. "Y/n, you're okay right?" Baekhyun asked you, beginning to flinch with his fingers again. You haven't talked the ride at all and it made Baekhyun worry a lot. Normally you would talk much but you were awfully quiet.
Once you all arrived, Baekhyun helped you out of the car and grabbed his suitcases. You carried one with you and Baekhyun carried the other one. There it is, the same gate from the last time Baekhyun left you. It really felt like the same. Baekhyun was going to leave you again, not knowing when he will come back. You made your goodbyes to the boys and hugged them all tight. "Be safe y/n, eat well, sleep well and stay healthy!" Yixing yelled. You smiled and nodded. Now there was baek, you both stood in front of each other, staring in to each other's eyes. You saw his oh so beautiful smile slowly forming on his face. "Y/n, don't worry. I know your struggling right now, I know you're having a hard time letting me go, again. But still, don't worry. I won't be away for 2 years like the last time. Trust me I'll be back sooner than you think." He seemed so calm and at ease. His words made you feel a little bit better. You didn't want to cry, you would obviously make it hard for him too. You smiled and he got closer to you to give you a tight hug. "Goodbye kiss?" You chuckled and leaned forward to kiss him on the mouth. You pulled back and cupped his face. "Byun Baekhyun, you better be back fast or else I'll come to Korea to give you your punishment." He smirked. "I'm looking forward to that." You laughed at his funny face and hugged him for the last time before you let him go. "Goodbye my Baekhyunnie!" "Goodbye my beautiful sweetheart. Wait for me!" He waved goodbye and disappeared....

You made your way towards the exit of the airport but you suddenly you saw Chris, in front of your cab. "Y/n, hello!" He sounded happy and cheerful which you couldn't understand after your last meeting with him. He sounded a bit fake though. "Oh hey, what a coincidence..." you said awkward. he giggled. "Yeah it is a coincidence, like always...." you watched his face getting darker and darker. "Uhm I need to go home now, can you move?" "Oh this is your taxi? I'm sorry..." he stepped away and opened the door for you. "Oh.. thanks." He slapped the door with a lot of power which made a loud bang. His expression wasn't that happy anymore and you could see his fierce eyes just when your taxi left. His eyes cut right trough you and you were really shocked. What was this weird meeting with him? What was wrong with him? He changed so much. What the hell happened to him?

When you got home, you wanted to sleep again so you fell into a deep sleep. It was nice and you woke up at 2:00 in the afternoon. But oh well, Baekhyun wasn't here anymore and you missed him. What should you do? Call him? Nah he has to rest, the plane hasn't landed yet. You stretched out and walked downstairs. You saw your little sister eating. "Hey sweetie, is mom at work again?" She sighed. "Yes, I had to make this sandwich myself but it's awful and tastes weird." You giggled. "Should I make you one?" She nodded and walked away towards the television. She's such a cutie. After you were done with the sandwich you walked your little sister to her school. Fortunately, it was nearby and the weather was really great. When you arrived you hugged her and waved goodbye. You stretched out a bit and put your headphones on. This time, you took a longer path to get your house. You enjoyed being outside like this. You listened to exo's songs and enjoyed their voices. They calmed you down. Suddenly your phone rang. It was your boss. "Hello, y/n here." "Y/n, well I know you have vacation but I came to tell you that we have a party with our colleagues this evening, it will be a very fancy party. I wanted to ask you if you have some time to buy wine. The red wine I like." "Yeah sure! I'll get it right away. But mister, what time does the party start? I haven't heard anything about the party till now..." "Yeah that's because we planned it yesterday, it was very sudden. I'm sorry for bothering you like this in your vacation though but I was just busy and forgot to buy. Uhm let me check at what time it starts.... hmm where is it the paper....Ahhh here it is. It starts at 8:00 in the evening and it fully ends around 12:00." "Ah okay I'll see if I can go because I don't know when my mother will come back from her work. But I need to go?" "No you don't need to, but it's a party for all the people in the the organization. It would be nice if you attended too." "I understand. Well, I'm going to buy the wine and bring it right away!" "Thank you, I'll hang up now!" You let out a sigh. A party huh?

You walked into the store to buy your boss's favorite red wine. "3 bottles of that one please." You took the bottles and thanked the old man. You walked out of the store but felt uneasy. It felt like someone was following you. But when you looked behind, you saw nothing. It gave you chills. Don't look behind anymore, there's no one. Keep walking. You stopped of the last time to see if there was someone actually following you. But again, you saw nothing. "Yes darling?" You called your mother for a moment. "Mom, do you have to overwork today?" "No, why?" "Oh it's just that my boss told me there's a party this evening with all the colleagues and I have to attend too." "And it will take place this evening?" "Yes...." "well okay, I'll be home around 6:00 so it's alright. But I need to hang up now. Bye." Beep beep beep...... you took a taxi to bring the bottles of wine to the place you worked, a very big building, in an organization for international trade management. You were the assistant of the most important person in the organization. You had to do all the paperwork for him and you really liked your job. When you told Baekhyun about it, he was all fascinated and happy. You thought about baekhyun's smile and suddenly began to smile yourself. Isn't he the most beautiful person on earth? You washed your thoughts away and walked into the building. It hasn't been that long since you walked in here for the first time, to apply as an assistant.
You knocked on the very known door and heard your boss say, "come in!" You opened the door and showed him the wine bottles. "Ahh y/n! Thank you so much. I appreciate it." "No problem! Oh and I can attend the party too, what will be the location of the party?" "Do you know the restaurant nearby? It's there's Wait I'll write down the address for you." He searched for some paper but it seems he couldn't find one. "It's right there.." you pointed at the side of the office. Your boss was very clumsy, he was the most clumsy person you've ever met. "Here you go." "Thank you. I need to go now, excuse me." He nodded and said goodbye. You smiled back and closed the door. When you were about to walk out of the building you saw Chris, standing in front of the door. Chris? You were confused and rubbed your eyes to see if you weren't hallucinating. No, he was right there. But how? His expression was angry and all his eyes say were: hate. The way he was looking at you made you scared. Really scared....
