(28) Cat And Mouse

*Ashleys P.O.V*

"FUCK RONNIE CATCH HER!" I screamed as Chelsea tumbled down the slope.I was in complete shock.Why would she betray me like this?We were in love!I jumped out of the car but tripped and fell and heard a crack.

My vision went black for a moment since I thought my ankle snapped but I was able to get up and let out a roar into the distance

"CHELSEAAA!!!!!"

*Chelseas P.O.V*

I felt like I was waiting and hiding for days but in reality I was only hiding about an hour from the Hunter guys.The one with the tattoo and the hair streak drove away awhile back.The other two were walking around the place with guns.They didn't come in any further which was weird.They were just walking up and down the side of the road.I would try to get away but if I do - They may hear me and that wouldn't be great...

It was dark and I was scared but started to feel a little relaxed really..The guys dropped the guns and I realised they didn't have ropes like the other ones had.They were now sitting together at the side of the road and talking quietly.I could barely hear them but I heard that the brown haired one was complaining that he was "Hungry"

Try being me

I decided to get up so I stood up from my cramped position and cringed as my bones cracked.I had my eyes peeled even though I could now barely see but I wanted to go to the treehouse.It was getting colder and started to drizzle.I thanked God for the rain so I would have fresh water but also cursed that it has to rain now out of all times.

I know its insane to go deep into the forest again but i needed to feel completely safe and I haven't had a roof over my head since I can remember.

I started to make my way back into the darkness as quietly as possible

*Andy's P.O.V*

Alex,Jack and I drove up outside the forest.We passed Jack and Rian and spoke briefly.They didn't see Chelsea but they're also sure she's in the forest though...I really hope she is.

I had a backpack with spare clothes,shoes,food,a flask with tea,blankets and a torch all for Chelsea so if we find her - She will be comfortable.

I left Alex and Jack with some supplies and they have a first aid kit.I phoned Jake and he said he will bring one.He thinks we are going for a late night hike.I decided not to tell him about looking for Chelsea.

Jake's a great friend but cracks under nerves so if Ashley interrogated him - We're screwed.

I entered the forest by myself and started to walk straight on - Branches crunching underneath my boots which I silently cursed.My torch offered perfect vision and light but I was nervous - There's possibly a kidnapped girl and a psychopath in this very forest so I was on high alert.

Jack and Alex went in together in a diffrent direction.Same with Rian and Zack.Jake told me where to meet and I got to the tree stump with orange paint splashes all over it and sat down.I just noticed now it was properly raining and I pulled up the hood of my Misfits hoodie and waited

*Ashleys P.O.V*

I sat in the treehouse happily.Chelsea would definetly be here soon - My plan on making this piece of crap look nice was hard work but i returned ealier tonight since i knew it was going to rain and this is the only form of shelter properly here.I had all my prized possesions here and my most important one will be here in my arms soon enough.I'm sick of cat and mouse games.

Ronnie went and blabbed to the police this morning out of guilt but I soon sorted him out along with the officer - Nobody's going to ruin my happiness with my Sweetie.

Nobody at all...

I sat in the treehouse in the darkness with my rope,duct tape,knife,candles,blanket and some good along with a pain of handcuffs and the liquid just kept coming and I don't know how to stop it..

Ronnie groaned from beside me.I forgot to mention that he was here and tied up and gagged.The policeman was in the boot of my car parked outside the forest and hidden.My hands were covered in the dark liquid that was oozing from his head where I thumped him with the back of my torch.I wished I had the chloroform but it was back in the truck at home.

I curled up with a smile Im my face after knocking Ronnie out again.

*Chelseas P.O.V*

I saw the treehouse and dragged myself over slowly.The rain was now pelting down and I was shivering.I had a sinking feeling in my stomach like I did when I first saw the treehouse but I had to go in...It also looked a little diffrent but must be because id the darkness and I can't really see good anyway....

My mind was screaming at me to leave but I grabbed the rope ladder and pulled myself up and then something grabbed me and helped with pulling me up.

This Can't be happening.Please let it be Andy

I caught a glimsp of a person but was hit on the back of my head..

Then everything went black yet again.Last thing I heard was groaning and delighted laughter
