Primes, We Shall Be

Orion's POV

We were walking towards the training center. I was behind Alpha Trion, and was talking with Megatronus. We had the others with us too. Such as a scout trainee called Bumblebee, weapons trainee, Ironhide, medical officer apprentice, Ratchet, and warrior trainee, Jazz, though jazz was in the back, listening to his music, I never quite understood him but he was swift in battle and a good friend. We made it to the training room, as we walked in we saw that Moon and Abysnos were the only ones there. We watched as Abysnos circled her, talking to her. He then stopped in front of her, a couple yards away. Then, quick as lightning, he lunged at her. I was about to lunge to help Moon but Alpha Trion stopped me. Then it hit me, this was a test.

Moon's POV

I stood there as Abysnos circled me. "Your training has gone excellently. You learn quick and your senses have improved. He stopped a couple yards in front of me. I nodded in thanks at his comment. "Now for your test." I was slightly confused until he lunged at me, his teeth and claws bared. I ducked under him and spun around as he did the same. I crouched in a position he had shown me, it was uncomfortable, but it worked against the other bots. He did the same. He lunged at me again, but this time I jumped to the side then leapt on top of his back and bit a soft spot he had at the back of his neck. He roared and turned his head, grabbed my tail and threw me off. A small trickle of energon ran down his neck and side. He growled and charged. I got up and got in the crouch. At the last second, I leapt over him and behind him, but he was ready for me. He spun around, bit down on my back, and threw me to another wall. I tried getting up in time but he pinned me down. He growled in my face, his optics narrowing. Then it hit me, he knows. He knows how to beat me because he trained me like him. His moves, his tactics! It's all him. Well....I'm not him! I whipped my head around and blew a full breath of fire in his face. He roared and backed up in surprise. I got up and was about to go into the same crouch as before but stopped myself. I narrowed my optics and got in a more comfortable crouch. He growled, "What are you doing?! That's not how I trained you!" He lowered his head dangerously. I growled, "I know." Then he roared and charged, this time I strike straight back. I swung around making my tail hit his face, blinding him. Then, with blinding speed, I started hitting him, side to side. Sending him back towards a wall. When we were close enough, I sprinted to the wall, and used it to leap off of it and hit him in the back. We rolled to the other side of the room and I pinned him down. I growled at him. He looked at me with surprise, then smiled. "Perfect." He said and I stopped growling. I was hesitant but I let him up. Then I was given a playful punch in the arm. I looked over to see Jazz and the others looking at me. Alpha Trion and Abysnos started talking about something. Bumblebee and Jazz were over-excited at my victory. "That was amazing! How'd you do that?!" Bumblebee asked. "Yeah, he was like beating you up, then you blew your fire in his face, then you were like 'BANG!' and 'ZOOM' and 'BOOM' and...." Jazz was doing various battle moves while he was talking and it made me and the others laugh at his behavior. Ironhide and Ratchet congratulated me for my victory. Megatronus patted my shoulder and also congratulated me. Orion just stared at me happily, a silly grin on his face that made me giggle slightly. Then I swear I saw a blush form on his cheeks. Then Alpha Trion and Abysnos approached us. "Orion Pax....... Moon.......you two shall meet us in the middle of the city tomorrow morning. We shall call for you." Orion and I were confused but we nodded anyway. "You all are dismissed." Jazz and Bumblebee cheered and ran out, Ironhide and Ratchet followed more slowly. Orion, Megatronus, and I followed their trail. I chuckled as Jazz and Bumblebee were trying to convince us all to go on a sandy trail they had found on the outskirts of the city. We eventually agreed and followed as they ran to the metal mountains. We all followed slower, talking about different things. We walked for a while, Jazz and Bumblebee finding a trail that lead to the ledge high above the ground, we, of course, followed. It was pretty much silent and peaceful, until I noticed Jazz kept getting closer and closer to the edge. "Be careful, you two! Don't want one of you falling of the edge and ending up in the medbay for Ratchet to heal you." Ratchet turned and gave a small smile. Me and Ratchet got along well, yet we had our moments when we didn't agree. Same with Ironhide. Megatronus just seemed like the quiet type. Talking only when needed. Orion, well, let's just say that he just won't stop staring. Even now, I caught his gaze on me. Jazz turned around and laughed. "We're fine, Moon! Don't worry!" Of course, as luck would have it, I saw the cliff edge start to crumble under them. And I wasn't the only one to notice. "Jazz, Bee! Watch out!" Ironhide yelled out. With a shocked yell from both of them, the ground below, disappeared. I jumped over Ironhide and Ratchet and ran to the edge, and leapt off. "Moon!" I heard Orion's and Megatronus' voices behind me but I didn't stop. I caught up to them and grabbed them. "Moon?! Wha-" Jazz tried to say but I interrupted him with a growl. "Just shut up and get on my back!" He and Bee said nothing, just climbed on my back and held on tight. I suddenly opened my wings, a few yards from the ground, and came to a stop. I flapped my wings and flew to the ledge where the others were standing there. Jazz jumped off me and everyone ran to him, protesting and worrying. Ratchet checking over him. I turned my head to see Bee still hadn't let go, his optics closed. I nudged him, "uh...Bee? We're safe." He opened his optics and looked over my shoulder. He saw the cliff edge and continued to hold on, not moving an inch, "Um.....I'd rather stay where I am if you don't mind." I chuckled at his scared voice and turned to the others. "We should head back, it's getting late and I don't want to be on these mountains when we can't even see where we're going." Everyone nodded. Then we began our silent trek back. Ironhide and Jazz took the lead, Me, Orion, and Megatronus followed closely, and Ratchet brought up the rear. When we got back, the sun was just disappearing below the horizon. Bee had fallen asleep halfway through the decent. Bumblebee's and Jazz's trainer ran up to us. She was a strong femme and she treated Bee and Jazz like she was their creator. She ran up and grabbed Jazz's arms. "Where were you two?! It's late! Why are you so dusty?! What are with the scratches?!" Ironhide stepped forward. "We were on a trail they had found, up on the metal mountains. We had a little set-back when the ground gave way under Jazz's and Bee's feet. Moon was able to save them before they hit the ground though." Her face was nothing but terrific through out Hide's whole explanation. When he said that last thing, she turned her optics on me. She grabbed one of my front talons and shook it in thanks. "Oh! Thank you so much! Wait where is Bumblebee?" I turned slightly to show her the sleeping form of Bee, in between my wings and curled into the nook between my neck and back. I had flattened the spikes on my back so he would be more comfortable. She smiled then turned to Jazz. "I want you two to get to your berthroom now. In fact you all should be heading to your berthroom. And Moon..." she turned to me. "Thank you again." I gave a small smile and nod as Jazz pried Bee from my back and begun to carry him to their shared berthroom. Ironhide and Ratchet also went to theirs. The femme mentor then turned back to me and Orion. Megatronus had left to our berthroom earlier. "So you two, are you excited for tomorrow?" Orion and I shared a confused look. "We don't really know what we are doing tomorrow. So um....yay?" Orion said, making me chuckle. She gave us a confused and shocked look. "You mean you don't know?" We both shook our heads. "Well you two are becoming Primes. Your supposed to make the journey tomorrow." Orion and I shared a shocked and surprised glance. "I know it's a lot to take in, but you two have proven that you would make great Primes. We all believe in you two." With that she turned and left. Orion and I began silently walking to our berthroom. When we got there we saw that Megatronus wasn't there. We were too shocked by the news of us being Primes to ask where he had gone. We sat there in silence, until he broke the silence. "Well.....to be honest......it's a great honor. To become a Prime." I gave him a smile, he tried, and failed, but still tried. I chuckled at the thought. "What are you laughing at?" He said, I smiled and looked at him. "I'm laughing at how you will have to deal with me being a Prime at your side." That made him smile. He chuckled and got up. I tilted my head slightly as he gave a hand out to me. I took it and he brought me up to where I was standing just a couple feet away from him. A blush appeared on my face, and a small one on his. "Moon....I'm not exactly sure how to say this.....but..." he stopped to look into my optics. My front talons in his hands. "You have always been at my side, and has always been the one to lighten my day. We will have many responsibilities as Primes, and we will face them. I was wondering.....if you would like to face them together, by being my-" he didn't finish his sentence before I pressed my lips against his, my optics closed. He was surprised at first but then kissed back, wrapping his arms around me. We both ended the kiss, his fore helm against mine. He smiled "I guess that's a yes?" I smiled and nodded, and he held me close, kissing me again. Little did we know, of a certain bot outside the door, watching us. He growled and walked off, into the shadows of the night.

So yay! Finally got this chapter done. Sorries it took so long. But I hope you like it! Anyway I shall continue writing. Next chapter might be the last for this book. Just warning you. But don't worry, there will be a sequel. Anyway, love ya, bye!
