Milo couldn't stop glancing in your direction. You caught him a few times with a wink and a smile, but you put your face down after a while and fell asleep. Your face relaxed beautifully when you were sleeping, was the first thing Milo realized. Your (H/c) swept gently across your face, a few wisps dangling precariously above your slightly parted, light rose pink lips and round, slightly pink nose. The thin wisps of hair gently floated in your face, your breath breezing them up and down. Milo kept glancing back at you. He couldn't stop observing the details of your face.

Suddenly, the bell rang. Milo's head snapped forward at the sudden sound. He quickly glanced back, just in time to see your eyes flutter open, your mouth stretching open in a small yawn. You rubbed your eye with one hand while the other grabbed your books. You walked off to your locker and grabbed your lunch. Milo practically bounced to you as Melissa and Zack trailed behind him, knowing smirks on their faces. You closed your locker to be met with Milo's smiling face. You stumbled back slightly, dropping your lunch as you nervously laughed at him.

"H-hey, Milo." You said, collecting yourself. You bent over to grab your lunch, quickly snatching the bag by its shoulder strap and yanking it up off the ground. You dusted it off as you looked back at the thirteen year old. Milo smiled wider as he waved Melissa and Zack over.

"Hey (Y/n)! I wanted to introduce you to my best friends Melissa and Zack!" Milo said, his voice loud with excitement. You smiled at them, nodding and raising your hand to slightly wave at them.

"Heyyyy..." You drawled out awkwardly. Melissa snorted as she walked up to you and bumped hips with you. You laughed loudly as you bumped back, your nerves dissipating. Zack walked over and offered a fist. You bumped up, down, back hand slap, open palm slap, zig zag, forward hand slap, side slap, and ended with a "miss me". Zack smiled with a shocked look as you pointed finger guns at him. "Boom." You said, pretending to blow smoke away from the ends of your pointer fingers. Zack smiled wide at you, his eyes glinting with joy.

Zack leaned over to Melissa and muttered; "Oh, I like her!" Milo felt a zap of jealousy flush through his veins, but he quickly ignored it and grabbed (Y/n)'s hand. "Wanna sit with us at lunch? It'll just be us three!" Milo said excitedly. You smiled and nodded, a burst of excitement pumping into your heart.

Zack and Milo walked ahead while you stayed behind with Melissa. "Why will it just be us three? Er, four." You asked, correcting your miscount. Melissa smiled mischievously.

"Everyone else is a bunch of cowards." She stated simply. She thrust her hands into her pockets, strutting towards the cafeteria. Her face looked almost prideful at the thought that her and Zack were the only two who willingly hung out with Milo.

"And why are they a bunch of cowards?" You asked curiously, raising your arms above your head and stretching, your back making a hideous popping noise that made Melissa cringe. She cleared her throat, and gave you a confused look."What?" You asked, cocking one brow as you lowered your hands.

"Seriously?" She asked, her voice full of disbelief.

"Seriously what?" You asked, annoyance creeping into your features and tone.

"He didn't tell you?" Melissa pressed, leaning towards you. Her face was now millimeters from yours. You scoffed and leaned away.

"Didn't tell me what? Can you just cut to the chase here?" You asked, starting to get frustrated. You looked annoyed, and held an air of slight anger.

"Oh boy... Okay... Well, Milo is the great, great, great, great grandson of the original Murphy, of Murphy's law." Melissa stated, counting the great's on her fingers.

"And that means?" You drawled, gesturing with your hands for her to continue.

"It means that anything that can go wrong, will go wrong around him." Melissa muttered, her words slightly slurring. You frowned as you recalled your locker. Melissa caught your expression and caught on immediately. "Are you new here?" Melissa asked hesitantly. You nodded slowly, the gears in your brain whirring as you tried to figure out if Milo had been near you when your locker combo failed. "How did your, uh, locker combo go?" Melissa questioned.

"Oh my God ! It was absolutely awful! My combo failed so much, I was late to my first class!" You shouted in anger. Just the thought made your blood boil. Melissa chuckled, recalled how Milo told her that he had stood nearby and watched for a while.

"Yeah, that was Milo and Murphy's Law." Melissa laughed, her gaze returning to looking more relaxed and neutral. Your face dropped in disbelief.

"You're kidding!" You exclaimed, throwing your hands in the air. Melissa laughed harder as she shook her head.

"Nope! And that's why Zack and I are the only two kids to hang out daily with Milo. Nobody else is brave enough or dedicated enough to do the same." Melissa said, an almost sad look painting her features. You felt your own gaze fall in shame. Your life wasn't boring, but you had never had everything go wrong around you.

"Wow." You muttered, shaking your head in disbelief. "He's pretty cool then." You said, lifting your gaze to the young boy, who was laughing and eating with Zack. You slung your lunch bag over your shoulder. "Okay. I'm in. What does it take to join the Milo Fan Club?" You asked unceremoniously. Melissa laughed and shoved you towards their table.

"You sit, and you eat with us. If the disaster bothers you, you high tail it back down the road. If you're chill with the events, you get to stick around the group. Oh, and don't you dare get Milo's hopes up about you being his friend and then leave him. Got it? You hurt him, I hurt you." Melissa mumbled threateningly. You nodded, and walked away.

'What have I gotten myself into?' You thought as you walked towards the table where Milo and Zack had just got soaked with milk.

Yay! Second chapter! Alright, so I'm hoping to post new chapters weekly. Expect them on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and any days off from school. I'll be starting track soon, so I might fall a bit behind. But have no fear, this story will go on! It'll be possibly 11 chapters, if not more.

Tell me what you think! Leave a comment, and leave a vote! Thanks, and enjoy, my little Andies!
