Shelby POV

I'm home now, after what happened to the house, the, you know, spot, and if you didn't know, Cheese is in the hospital now from a car accident, (... I can't think sorry...😏) I needed to get away from Washington for awhile. It pained me to not be ne'er max, but I felt like I was just bringing him bad luck, it only started to happen once I got with Max. Every day max and I call each other for hours on end, so it felt like we still could I don't know, be together? I guess that's how you could describe it, I miss him so much! If only I wasn't such bad luck for him and his friends, If only I was different, I wasn't bad luck for the man I love. *knock knock* there was a knock on the door, I walked over to it from my room lazily, since I work at home I'm still wearing my one-zee. I opened the door and saw someone I didn't expect to see. It was Max. (Duh! Worst dramatic reveal ever!) When I saw him I thought he was someone else, that my eyes were playing trick on me, but I looked harder and it was definitely the one I loved, max. Max kept staring at me waiting for a hug or kiss, I however was still shocked to see him, when my mind went back to reality I hugged max tightly, not wanting to let go, he tried to hug back but my grip on his arms was a little tight. "Oh sorry max..." I said to him, a little embarrassed, he then kissed me and said, "it's fine Shelby, I missed you so much," as he said this he held my hands and swayed them back and fourth. I smiled and told him "you can come in if you want," and gestured him to come inside. He came in and I closed the door slowly behind me as I followed him. We went to the living room and sat in the couch, "I don't think I've ever been in your house before Shelby," max said looking around my house, well really it's my family house. Despite the fact that I'm 23 I still live with my parents, I just don't make enough money to live on my own just yet so I've been saving up for a while now. "Well do you want a tour? Or are you going to tell me why you're here?" I said with a sly look on my face, max blushed a  small shade of pink and started to sweat a little bit, now I was even more curious. "Welll..." I asked again "um, well I missed you?" He said, I know he did miss me but I could tell it wasn't the reason he was here, "max, you can tell me!" I told him, "fffffffffinee! I wanted to ask you, if, you, well, wanted to, move to Washington?" He said almost unsurely, my eyes widened, where's this coming from? "Um, why are you asking me this?" I said to Max, "I just," he said nervously but his tone THE turned Mir serious, more then I've ever seen, "Shelby, I love you, but I need to know, do you love me too? Because I-" I cut him off with a kiss, I needed him to know that I loved him more then anything in the whole world, he kissed back and we stayed like that for a while, once we released, I spoke "Max, I love you more then you could know, I didn't realize it before, but I've loved you even before you kissed me on New Years, so yes, I love you!" He smiled and spoke once again, "I don't want to be in a long distance relationship any more, I want you to move closer to me, will you?" He asked me very sincerely, I blushed, we haven't been together long, but I feel like I've been waiting for him to ask me this for a long time, "Max, I would really want to! But I can't... I don't have the money." I said looking down sadly,  max then tapped my shoulder so I looked up at him, he had a huge wad of cash, probably like I don't know, $20,000,000! My eyes grew wider, I smiled more then I think I ever have in my life, I hugged max tightly. "Here, you can have half, that way you can buy a house, pay for rent, and other essentials, and I'm not broke!" I nodded my head and kissed him passionately.  "So max? When are you leaving?" I asked sadly, "in a a day or two, but if you want to start house hunting, you can come with!" He said to me wriggling one eyebrow, I roll my eyes and nod. "If you need a place to stay, you can stay here?" I asked him, "sure!" He said a little to fast. "Also, Shelby, I know it's a little bit late, but you left before the day, so, will you be my Valentine?
