Does anyone have the new whatsapp update?

Skylar had just finished getting ready for school, walking to the kitchen she told her parents good bye and headed for the front door. Upon opening the door, there stood Mason who was just getting ready to knock on the door.

"Uh, Skylar your my neighbor?" Mason asked and Skylar nodded her head confirming his question.

"I just came over to let everyone know me before I head to school." He stated.

"Yeah sure, come in my parents are in the kitchen." She said showing him towards the kitchen.

"Mom, Dad this is Mason our neighbor." Skylar announced.

Mason and both of Skylar's parents exchanged greetings before they went off to school.

Just as they entered the gates of the school the bell rang.

"Let hurry before we're late for class." Mason said pulling Skylar through the school and to their first period class.

As they entered the students began to stare and whisper. Skylar looked up to Mason to ask him why everyone was staring but quickly felt his hand being removed from hers. She hadn't even remembered that they were still holding. Skylar went and sat in her seat by the door and Mason next to her like they did on Friday afternoon.

Skylar felt as if the class was taking forever to finish. History was one of her most hated subjects, not that she didn't understand but the teacher would just rant  for the whole day sometimes straying off of the topic to things that had no relations with history. At times in class Skylar would just pretend she's taking important notes but would really be writing in her diary.

9:35 a.m.

Dear Skyiary you know the drills of history class, Mr. Charles rants about unrelated topics that has nothing to do with history, I act like I'm taking notes when I'm actually telling you about my current events. I was surprised today when I found out that Mason was my neighbor. How could I have not notice, hints were thrown to me before we even went for dinner on Saturday afternoon. My dad did say one of the children was a boy and that he went to my school and even when his little sister said her last name 'Rivers'. Hmmm, 'Skylar Rivers' that has a nice ring to it. Oh and I'm adding that he loves to wear black to my 'Things About Mysterious Cutie' list.

Mason stared intently at Skylar waiting for her to look up from her diary but soon noticed that wasn't going to happen anytime soon. He wondered what she was writing that was so interesting, since it couldn't have been notes. Mason had remembered Skylar telling him that that was her diary and he knew for a fact that notes didn't go in a diary.

"What are you writing about?" He asked.

His curiosity was getting the best of him and trying to peep over her head was not working at all. Startled by the voice Skylar jolted upright, closing the book at the same time.

"Uh, nothing." She answered quickly avoiding eye contact with Mason.

Mason observed her reaction and noticed that she was lieing but didn't push her any further.

The end of the school day had reached and both Mason and Skylar swiftly walked out of the school gates, hoping to avoid the extra attention from the rest of the school's population.

The walk home was rather boring and Mason didn't like that at all. He had to find a way to get Skylar to open up to him.

"I was thinking about getting some grey contacts." He started although it wasn't really true, Mason preferred his brown eyes more.

"Don't I love your brown eyes, I think they make you look cute." Skylar said scrunching up her face at Mason with the thought of him having in grey contacts.

Mason was shocked that she thought he was cute and couldn't help but let his cockiness get the best of him.

"Oh don't lie, I bet you think I'm ravishing." He stated.

Skylar let out a light laugh shaking her head not replying to his statement.
