The sun rays reflected brightly through the clouds as Skylar and Mason wished they had brought an umbrella along with them as they walked to school. There was a ten minute walk to the school and they both intended to reach in at least seven minutes if they doubled their pace.
Achieving the time set they walked into the school gates and headed to home room. Skylar could hear the small snickers sent her way and could also feel the eyes boring into the back of her head, while she sat and waited for the teacher to mark the names.
Mason didn't have to ask what the matter was when he saw Skylar fidgeting in her seat, he had heard the small chattering from his classmates and just simply place his hands on Skylar's leg to stop its movement.
"Relax, you look like your ready to pass out any minute now." He stated giving her a reassuring smile.
"I'm fine, I'm fine. Just a little anxious for later."
"I know the feeling. "
The bell rang notifying the pupils that classes had just began. Everyone began scattering to find their respective classes, well those who actually intended on going or being early.

Skylar was leading both her and Mason towards the gym were she knew Gretchen would be during the break.
Entering the blue double doors of the gym they both scanned the area until Skylar's eyes landed on Gretchen on the bars. She was clearly boasting about how good her skills were to the other members, Skylar could tell just by the smirk she had spread across her face.
Skylar tapped Masons shoulder and pointed towards Gretchen. They both strolled over to the area and Mason asked the other girls to excuse themselves for a moment while they had a talk with Gretchen.
"Hey Mason. " Gretchen purred in a seductive tone as she took a seat on the bar, completely ignoring Skylar's presence.
"Skylar and I knew you took her diary, all we wanna know is why. "
Gretchen looked taken aback by Mason's statement but quickly covered it with a smile.
"I don't even know how that shit looks, plus y do you even still need a diary? "
The question was forwarded towards Skylar and as a reply she just rolled her eyes at Gretchen."When are you going to stop lieing so much. You've been doing this since we first met. " Skylar stated.
This time it was Gretchen who had rolled her eyes.
"Whatever. "
"Look I'm not in for your games, tell me what you were doing with the diary. "
Mason had already had it with Gretchen and he hadn't even been here for a good ten minutes.
"Fine I took the book, but it was for revenge." Gretchen said.
"You took what's was mine and I thought it was only fair to do the same to you. "
Skylar looked at her in shock, she couldn't comprehend what Gretchen was saying fast enough. Skylar in no way knew what she had taken from Gretchen that was so important for her to steal her diary.
"What exactly did I take from you, you were my best friend before you started hating me for no reason." Skylar asked out of curiosity.
Gretchen looked at her then laughed lightly glancing at Mason. Skylar lets her eyes follow her gaze when they landed on him. She looked back at Gretchen in shock.
"Yeah I liked him a lot but I realised its pointless because he actually likes you and I don't see the point in forcing him to like me. "
"Just don't be a chicken as always ya know, it's obvious you like him. And I hope you can see pass what I've done, and we can be friends again. " She added.
"Yeah I'd like that." Skylar replied.
They both embraced each other in a hug. Skylar felt like she had resolved a dispute between her and Gretchen that has been going on for how long now.
"Use him as a Diary, it's a better alternative. " Gretchen said so only both of them could hear while shoving Skylar in the direction of Mason.
