I wake up the next day just to repeat the same process as yesterday. Once I'm done getting dressed, I head downstairs to grab my keys and make my way to school. When I reach student parking lot, I stop my car and make my way to the high school. After checking into homeroom I head to first period which is Litterature or lit as I call it.

I walk into lit and plop down in my usual seat. Crossing my arms and placing them on the desk, I rest my head on them, closing my eyes. A few minutes later I hear a noise next to me, and open one eye peeking at who it is. It turns out to be my good friend Danielle. She see's me eyeing her and says,

"Someone's tired."

"No shit Sherlock."

"Aw someone's grumpy, is it that time of the month?"

"Hehe, so funny I forgot to laugh," I say giving her a slight glare but lightening the mood and I sit up and change my expression to one of smiling and laughter which Danny then mirrors.

"So did you do the home-" I start, but am cut off before I can finish my sentence by our teacher Mr.Williams making an appearance.

"Okay, class phones away." He begins

"Since you all read the first part of Wuthering Heights last night we will have a quick 5 point quiz to start the class off." A chorus of groans echoed around the classroom.

"Oh shush, you'll be fine as long as you did the homework." I feel Danny lean over as she whispers something in my ear,

"So what do you think about the book so far."

"Eh, the plot and what I know about it from just general knowledge seems a bit far fetched for me." Our conversation end there as Mr.Williams places the quizzes on our desks. After we finish taking the homework check class proceeds on, discussing what we read in the novel.

Finally, the bell rings and I grab my backpack slinging it over my shoulder. I walk with Danny till we separate to go into our different classes as she walks into math, and I history.

I sit at my desk, on my phone as others enter. Though this time I don't look up as I'm texting one of my guy friends, Daxton, from back in NY. I see Maya out of the corner of my eye peep over my shoulder at what I'm doing before going to her seat.

"Ooo Corinne who ya texting, your boyfriend?" She says jokingly like young freshmen would. Though before I respond I hear a low growl pass through the air quickly. I look up only to see Me, Maya, Tuck, and a girl reading a book in the room currently. Shaking my head, 'Weird, I must be hearing things.' I think to myself.

"So is he?" I hear Tuck as me with a smirk on his face, a slight raise of the brow, and an emotion in his blue eyes that I can't quite decipher that contradicts his calm exterior façade. Slightly taken back by this question, I laugh not only at the ridiculous question but the fact that it's most likely a joke coming from him of all people. Still laughing, I respond,

"No just a good friend who I grew up with, he's the year above us but basically like a brother to me."

"Oh, haha," Tucker says as I see what I think is relief flash though his eyes quickly before it's replaced by his normal, cool expression. I don't debate it much, as I realize the teacher has come in and is about to begin the lesson on Principles of the U.S. government.

As the lesson continues, I zone out dreaming about random what if's. While my mind continues to wander, my eyes drift slightly towards Tuck and I see him staring at me. Blushing I look away quickly, but sneaking one more glance I see him stoically regarding the teacher.
