Ugh, Monday morning, fml. Literally, why is school even a thing? I honestly don't think it's even for our education – just for a really screwed up version of a torture tactic. Though I guess it's not all bad considering I do get to see Tuck and my friends. After 10 minutes of laying in bed contemplating whether I need to go to school or not, I finally get up and get ready.
I grab the first thing I see in my closet which blue ripped jeans, white converse, a maroon shirt with detailing at the top, and a black leather jacket. I blew my hair out last night, so I left it down since it looks decent. After doing the rest of my usual routine I make my way to school.
My day proceeded a normal, no surprises. I know sorry, I have a really boring life. I finally had History which is at least some excitement cause Tucker!. Walking in class I see Tuck already sitting there.
"Hey, Corinne." He says
"Hey." I respond back. – Wow, I'm amazing at making conversation. Maya walks in and we continue with idle chit chat until the teacher walks in.
"The project is due the last day before thanksgiving break. All History classes for the next three upcoming weeks till then will be dedicated to the project. Use your time wisely, this project has a lot of components that need to be completed. Now get to work." Our teacher states bluntly. Once he is done I look up at Tucker to start talking about the project, but when I do I see he's already gotten up to come sit next to me.
"How about we use today as a research day?" I suggest.
"Sounds good to me." He responds. We spend the class period looking at resources for our given president. I barely have two resources chosen out of the 20 we need when the bell rings.
"Shit, this is going to take a lot longer than I thought." I mumble more to myself than anyone else. Though of course due to our enhanced senses Tuck picks up on my comment.
"Yea I know this going to take forever, we should probably work on this outside of school."
"Your right, do you want to meet somewhere sometime this week?" I ask.
"How about we meet tonight, get a head start on the project."
"Sure, where do you want to work on this, the library?"
"Yea that works for me, do you want to meet there at 6?"
"Sure."

From Monday through Wednesday we met at the library every day. We got a decent amount of work done, but it was actually quite nice because, with all the time spent together, we began to become closer. I learned that his love for basketball stemmed from the fact that his dad had played it. It was the first sport he was taught and now can't imagine doing anything else. It was nice learning small details about each other, it just made everything that much more personal. And who wouldn't want to get to know their crush better?
Thursday finally rolled around and as I was packing my bag up after 3rd period had ended, I felt my phone vibrate against my leg. Grabbing the device from my pocket, my heart flutters a bit when I look at the lock screen to see; "imessage from Tucker <3". Don't judge the contact, he's my crush I can do what I want.
Unlocking my phone I read the message he sent:
T: Um well my mom is having book club tonight at my house, and we'll have extra work to do tonight since we don't want to work on a Friday, the library might close before we can finish. So I was thinking maybe we could work at your house tonight?
I type a response:
C: Yea that works for me, see you then.
Once I hit the send button it hits me, TUCKER IS COMING TO MY HOUSE. Might I add that we will be alone since both my parents will be working late and both my siblings are in college. Shit, I'm gonna have to clean, Is my last thought before heading off to my next class.
