Save Me [5]

2 weeks later. (You have been trying to turn the corner but never got to)

Eren's Pov

   I caught up with Y/n after talking to that annoying horse.  She seemed annoyed slightly but it disappeared. "S-Sorry about awhile back.."    "Why are you sorry?"   "Because I dragged you around without your permission.."   "Well I got food quicker, I'm happy!"

A bell rang and my eyes widened. Shoot.. I'm supposed to clean the stables...They have horses when they go out to raid sometimes)   "Hey Y/n wanna help me do something?"   She looked at the corner sadly and then smiled at me. "Sure!"  I grabbed her hand again and took her to the stable. 

No one was there so I sighed in relief.  "Pick up that broom and start sweeping. I will clean the stalls."  "On it." She did what I asked and by the time I had one stall done,  she had done the other 6.  "Are you serious?"  She wiped the dirt off her hands. "My father used to be a farmer. I'm used to stable work."   

I heard another bell and my eyes widened. "Y/n we have to run.."    "Wh-"  I grabbed her hand and took off out the door.  Just as I was about to enter the building, I bumped into something and fell back, Y/n fell with me. "ow..."  

I looked up hoping it wasn't what I thought it was and.. it was...    Levi stood there looking down on me and Y/n. She didn't seemed fazed but I knew I'm going to die...    

"Jaeger..."   "Yes, gulp,  Corporal?"   "Did Y/n help you with the chore I assigned you specifically?"   I looked at Y/n panic evident and she looked at me with a confused look. He looked at Y/n, and glanced at our intertwined hands,  and she looked at him without fear.  That, is what I call courage.  "Y/n, Jaeger here got into some big trouble and had to clean the stables BY HIMSELF. Did you help him?"    

"No.  I made sure he did it though."   He nodded and looked at me angrily.   "You be lucky Jaeger!"   I gulped as he walked away. She stood up.

After awhile of walking and me thanking her over and over, Petra walked up to us.  Her eyes glared into Y/n's.  "Corporal wants you in his office."  She was obviously jealous, everyone knew of her crush on Levi.  Y/n nodded and walked away. I watched Petra stare daggers at her and then walk, I mean storm, off.

Y/n's Pov

   I knocked on Levi's door. A shushed "Name and business." was heard through the door.  "Y/n, Petra said you wanted to see me?"    "Come in."  My eyes scanned his spotless office.   "Clean much?"   He chuckled.   I stood in front of his desk and he looked at me, completely ignoring the task he was doing earlier.

Levi's Pov

  "Why did you bail Jaeger out?" "What?" "I watched you clean most of the stalls while he talked. Yet you lied to me, bailing him out."    

"Are you mad?" Her eyes locked with mine, her voice quiet.  I stared into her captivating e/c  eyes.   "I'm just wondering.   He was also holding your hand, both at lunch a few days ago, and during that moment."

Her eyes showed a glint of interest.  "Oh?  You noticed?"  My slight glared disappeared. "Of course I noticed.  Eren is dating my cousin Mikasa, he shouldn't be holding another girl's hand." (I DON'T SHIP IT)

     "I have a way of getting him back."   "Oh?"  Now it was my turn to be interested.   "You'll see~"   Her eyes were scanning my desk.  I looked down at the paperwork I had to fill out because of Eren.  She picked it up and read through it faster than possible. "Wow Eren did THAT?"   "Yea.."

She moved slightly to the right, pulled a chair over with her foot, and started filling out the papers with me.  Her chair was sat beside me. She wrote really fast.  When she was done, She handed me the papers. Her handwriting matched mine.
