Me and Jester woke up by the sound of our alarm clock and turned it off, we both got up and started preparing for the field trip to the forever fall forest

Y/n: So hey Jester I was wondering What our team name should be cuz you know it's been weeks since we arrived and were the only student that doesn't have a team name.

Ms. Goodwitch: Well anyway each of you will collect 1 jar worth of red sap in these trees and the forest is filled with the creatures of grimm so make sure to stay by your teammates we'll Rendezvous here at 4:00 have fun

~Y/n's pov~
I turned around and saw Jaune going with Cardin instead of his teammates
"Jaune what are you doing"

Jester: Hey Y/n! C'mon let's collect the saps.

Y/n: You go on ahead I need to talk to Weiss about something.

Jester: Ooooh I didn't know you were into rich girls *WHACK* OW! What was the for.

Y/n: that's for assuming I like her and no I need to talk to her about the book.

Jester: what book?

Y/n: the book our dads made for us remember?

I started to run over to Weiss seeing she was done collecting the sap from the tree and started to greet her.

~Weiss's pov~
I closed the jar of red sap that I got from the tree "Hey Weiss!" I turned around to see Y/n infront of me and felt my face heat up

"H-hello to you too Y/n how are you" I said to him trying to hide my stutter.

Y/n: I'm fine thank you for asking well anyway I was wondering if you could help me with something really important.

Weiss: W-w-what you you need my help but aren't you capable of doing it yourself.

Y/n: Yeah but you're the only one I know smart enough to help me with deciphering a language I don't know fully well enough.

Weiss: W-well then I am very much happy I could be of help to you, well let's get started what do I need to decipher? 'Y/n gave me a book that had strange markings on it I opened it and saw the text.'

Y/n: So can you decipher it?

Weiss: Sorry but I can't I might need to take it to the library so I can study it because this is a language that hasn't been used for almost a thousand years, and might I ask who wrote this?

Y/n: It was me and Jester's father, for now I just need to know if there is anything there that could tell me about me and Jester's last name.

Weiss: O-ok I'll try to find it. I told him as I started to keep the book in my sling bag.

Y/n: thank you Weiss I really appreciate your help, and promise me that you won't show the book to anyone I trust you and I guess I definitely owe you one favor for this, if there's anything you need just say it I'll do it

Weiss: Yeah I promise I won't show it to anyone and did you really mean Anything?

Y/n: Yeah anything, why is there something you need?

As I went back to Jester I also saw Jaune and Cardin in a distance it looks like they're spying on Jaune's team

Jester: You see them too right?

Y/n: Yeah I'm gonna climb up a tree to see what Cardin is planning

Jester: Your just gonna watch it play out aren't you.

Y/n: Yup, I just hope Jaune makes the right choice like I told him to.

~Jaune's pov~
Me and Cardin were on the ground spying on my team and asked what was going on

Cardin: Payback

Jaune: Pyrrha? What are you- 'I was cut off by Cardin talking again.'

Cardin: That's the girl, red haired know at all who thinks she's so smart, alright boys ol Jauney here managed to round up an entire box full of rapier wasp and now were going to put them to work. He said holding the box of wasp I collected last night.

Jaune: hehehe

Cardin: Now according to the essay you wrote for me last week these nasty things loves sweets, I think it's time to teach her a thing or two. He said as he pulled me up

Jaune: And how are you gonna do that?

Cardin: Who said I was gonna do it, your gonna do it.

Jaune: Do what?

Cardin: Hit her with the sap either that or I'm having a chat with Goodwitch, and you'll be the first airship out of Beacon. He said with a smirk

I had no choice I'm sorry Pyrrha, I was gonna throw it until I remembered what Ruby and Y/n told me last night

Jaune: No

Cardin: What did you say?

Jaune: I said NO!!! I said to him as I threw the sap at him

Cardin: Hahaha oh you've done it now.

Jaune: hehehe. I laughed as Cardin'a teammates grabbed me by the shoulder. "This isn't gonna be good.
