The moment that the two large doors opened, all eyes were on me. At least that's what I wanted to think it was but I knew better and am well aware that they were staring at him, my boyfriend, William.

Yes. The William Vangeance of the Golden Dawn is my boyfriend. 

After countless of tongue-twisted failed attempts of confessing to the man I gave up on the idea of it, until last month when Mimosa was shouting, "Y/N stop daydreaming about the Captain liking you back and open the door!" casually as a way of teasing me not knowing that Captain Vangeance was present, right behind her.

It was embarassing to say the least. I couldn't even stand being in the same room with him for more than a few seconds without getting flustered. There were also many times when he tried to approach me but in the end I kept running away.

And yet just a few weeks ago during a mission, I was injured and fell unconscious. When I woke up there he was, his head peacefully sleeping beside the bed with both of his arms supporting it. From then on I knew I couldn't and should not have done that.

When he awokened we were able to get the words out of our mouth and confessed which brings us to the present, Clover Kingdom's debutante ball with me, not only as William's partner for the night, but his girlfriend.

Lucky? Indeed.

"Would you like a drink, love?" he asked, while his hand was still in mine, his thumb gently rubbing mine, trying to comfort my uneasiness from everyone that was staring. 

"I would, but don't get lost!" I replied as he inched his face closer to mine before whispering to my ear,

"The only way I'd ever get lost is by looking at your eyes."  I threw several light punches at him before he left to get us refreshments. THAT MAN REALLY KNOWS HOW TO MAKE A GIRL FALL HEAD OVER HEELS FOR HIM, DOESN'T HE!>

My eyes wander around the place to look for Mimosa and as she waved at me at the end of the room, someone blocks my route, "Uhm, excuse me but you're in my way, sir." I said to the man who from the looks of it was a noble. The smug look on his face was a dead giveaway to be honest.

"Oh no, I came here on purpose to see you." He looks at me as if asking for permission, and as I raised my eyebrows at him, I realized he was asking for my hand so I obediently gave it to him thinking that making friends was a good way to start the night.
