O19 | mereoleona: wrong landing

As a late new recruit of the Crimsons Lion Kings, you've taken it upon yourself to get to know more of the people you will eventually spend most of your life with. 'It's not like people can actually accept what I am.'

Looking over to your shoulder, you saw the young Vermillion who dared to have you fight against him just to show who reigned supremacy in the field of snowball fights, "Stop dodging , you ugly jerk!" you bellowed angrily at him who was actually enjoying that he was able to get under your skin so quickly.

From afar, their Captain, Fuegoleon Vermillion was watching the two of you childishly have the best time of your lives. He was forced to use a truth potion on you as Fuegoleon wanted to know your true feelings regarding your stay here which you always lied about.

'Is she really the same age as me?' pinching his nose, he looked at them once again and was reminded of his own silly antics with the eldest... speaking of, wasn't she visiting today?

Swinging your hand and remembering how cool that baseball player looked like during that one time you watched a match, mimicking their moves and locking your aim on Leopold's location and fired it.

Leopold successfully dodges the said attack but the person behind him didn't. Gasps were evoked when their eyes landed on her ferocious figure who melted the ice that landed on her head.

Clenching their fist, you turned around to see who was making their presence known by flexing the sound of their knuckles, eyes-widening at the sight bowing as soon as you saw her hair, "I'm sorry, Lady Vermillion!" you shamelessly yelled hoping this would make up for your mistake.

A paw holds your head, squeezing the life out of it , forcing you to look at her in the eye, 'Oh my God she's beautiful and hot! WHAT THE HELL AM I THINKING!?' shaking your head, you gulped and stared at the ground, trying to come up with what to say.

"The hell with that name." you looked up confused at her words, sinking deep into her entrancing blue orbs. 

"It's Mereoleona, you idiot." 

"Well this idiot likes you." you covered your mouth as the words passed your mouth. You looked at Fuegoleon who was chuckling at your truthfulness.'Curse you and that potion, Captain Fuegoleon!'

The glare which was seen on Mereoleona's face has long disappeared as she was now smirking, "Oh? I like brave lions. Prove yourself to me right here, right now, this instant." she said, placing you down and arming herself with mana skin. 

The heat she radiated was enough for you to melt, literally. Fuegoleon had to step in to ensure his new recruit with a promising future wouldn't be incinerated by his sister, "Now, now. She's only new here. Don't pressure her too much." he mused, letting you breathe.

"New? With that much courage to speak her heart? HA! You're mine, woman." she said making you even more so flustered and confused, "W-WHA-WHAT!?" Mereoleona clawed your head again and headed towards the mess hall as lunch was near.

She kept blabbering about her travels to you, which you listened with all of your interest, despite being in a daze with her previous actions.Leopold rubs his eyes and tugs Fuegoleon's robe, "Anue, what happened to Aneki and Y/N-chan?" the older Vermilliion simply smiled and followed the aforementioned's footsteps.

"Only time will tell." he hummed and left the boy dumbfounded. 'Huh?'
