He took me to the rooftop where you could see the stars perfectly in all their glory. There were thousands of them that shone brightly against the dark night sky. Suddenly he was behind me and with my back facing towards him, he held my wrists in his hands. His touch was so soft and gentle just like a feather. My heart was beating a mile a minute as he put his hand on my shoulder and turned me around to face him. I'm not sure what exactly happened next but I was kissing him. Nothing else in the world mattered more than this moment.

His lips were so soft against mine. I didn't want him to stop and his hands gently held my face while his thumb caressed my cheek. The butterflies in my stomach wouldn't stay still for just one second. It felt like forever but the moment had to end eventually.

Our kiss was interrupted by the sound of my phone coming from the back pocket of my jeans. He pulled away and I slowly opened my eyes and smiled at him.
"Aren't you gonna get that?" he asked referring to the noise still coming from my pocket. Honestly I had completely forgotten about it and assumed it wasn't that important but I had to stop the ringing. So I pulled my phone out of my pocket and answered it.
"Hello?"
"Mommy? What's wrong? What happened?"
"Okay I'll be there as soon as I can."

"Babe? What's wrong, is everything okay?" he asked clearly concerned. It must have been the look on my face. "Bae I'm really sorry but I have to go". And with that I gave him a quick kiss on the cheek and walked away hurriedly. I ran down the lengthy flights of stairs, jumped into my car and rushed off to my parents house.
