Only a few days until I journey into the unknown. Tonight is girl's night so imma go out with the squad and have a good time. I haven't seen all of them in so long and I can't wait for our little reunion. It's currently Friday afternoon and I have 5 hours to get ready and meet up with my girls.

Carrington chose a cute little restaurant down by the beach. It has the perfect view of the ocean, the waves crashing against the shore, the cries of seagulls above us and the scent of the ocean reminding me of those family trips to the beach. Building sandcastles, collecting sea shells and splashing around in the water.

When I arrived at the restaurant, thankfully I wasn't the first one, Carrington and Megan were already sitting at a table. As soon as they saw me walking towards them, they jumped up from the table and ran towards me. They nearly knocked me to the ground with their enthusiasm to see me. Both of them had their arms around me in a group hug and I said, "I really missed you guys."
"We missed you too Becca," they replied in unison.

We eventually let go of each other and I hugged them individually. First Megan and then Carrington, because I knew with Carrington I wouldn't be letting go anytime soon. Me and her have a special bond, she's like my other half, my sister from another mister. Ever since we met in high school its always been like that and I wouldn't change a thing about meeting Carrington.

But after our infinity hug, the rest of the squad arrived. And of course I hugged every single one of them. First to arrive after me was Bianca. In high school we were really close friends and to this day we still are. I was the one who listened to all her boy problems and gave her advice, which most of the time she didn't take but that's whatever. She was also the one who introduced me to my boyfriend.

Next was Ashleigh. Me and her weren't that close but I would definitely still call her my friend. She was the quiet one but we share a few things in common for example, one of our favourite singers is Melanie Martinez and we both love art. Coincidentally, we were in the same art class in high school.

Lastly was Mona and Sarah. Me and Mona have been really close friends since our first year in high school. We have been through many changes in friend groups and we stuck together all the way until we found where we belong.

Sarah joined our group of weirdos in our second to last year of high school. Me and her share quite a few things in common such as, tv series: The Originals and it was through this show that she brought to my attention the fact that I share a name with one of the main characters and her boyfriend shares a name with mine. Also movies: The Mortal Instruments and we both love superheroes.

So now that everyone was here and we placed our orders, it was time to catch up. We went around in a circle starting with Carrington. She told us about her vacation in Hawaii with her fiancé, Cameron. They are honestly so cute together and they have been my power couple since high school. He's so romantic and always surprises Carrington, I remember one time he got her a big teddy bear and it was so soft and cute. I was so jealous because I really wanted one too but anyways that was then.

Next to Carrington was Megan and she never really had a guy in her life so she has invested herself into her work. She is a local architect and owns her own architecture company. Megan told us how well her business was doing and how she travelled to New York and maybe open up a new company there. She showed us all the pictures she took while she was there like a real tourist. I'm really excited for her and maybe one day she will find the guy for her even if it's by accident.

Next was Bianca. Now since I've known her she was in the love game. I think out of all of us she the most experienced. She just recently broke up with her boyfriend Liam. She said things just weren't working out and the spark that they once had, was gone.
