I am not a Christian, nor am I catholic, but I went to a catholic school. I do know the creation story, and this is a bit based off of that, but not entirely. I made it up. I am sorry if this offends anyone or anything like that. I do not mean to offend anyone, this is just a story I made up.

WARNING: also this book contains a bit of gore, and fighting, so if you do not like that, I am sorry.

Besides that this is is not really that important; it just explains how the gods came to be, and why they hate humans.

The Gods

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
First there was God, no one created him, he just came to be. Then he made the planets and thought to himself “This is good, but there needs to be more.”
 Then he created the sky, and the rivers, he thought again to himself “This is good, but again, there needs to be more.”
He then created animals, and realized the animals need to have something to protect them. So he created gods. They did not look like him except in height; they towered from anywhere between seven feet to ten feet. They could also make themselves expand to the height of 24 feet to 50 feet  There where fifty of them all together and each was more different than the last. The leader of all the gods and was in control of them unless God was present was named Soyala. She had a permanent smile etched into her face, long sharp nails, long blonde hair, long legs, her arms where the same length as her legs,  long jagged teeth that closely resembled to that of a shark  and deep piercing black eyes with no whites to them. God did not believe that they had to be beautiful in order to protect and love the animals.
God then thought “This is great”, and sent them down to the planet on which the animals lived called Earth.
For a while that was how they lived, God would communicate freely with Soyala and the other gods about how the animals were doing, but soon he became bored and then began to create humans. He made them in his likeness, except they were a bit shorter. Every human, like the gods, were all different, but looked like God in one way or another.
God soon fell in love with the humans and wanted to send them down to Earth to be with the gods and other animals. So he did. He then realized that was a mistake as he watched the humans kill the animals for food and clothing. The gods did not like this and began to kill off the humans. God was not happy about this either, but he did not want to watch his prized creations die off, so he ordered the gods to stop killing them and let the humans do as they please. The gods were not happy about this, but did as God ordered them to, but with no purpose in life, since they could no longer protect the animals, they began to die off.
Soyala watched as her brothers and sisters began to die and begged God to save them. God then reached down from heaven, picked them up, and told them to protect the humans, but from above. Soyala did not like this as she watched the humans begin to tear down the forests that she grew up in and build homes, slaughter animals, and even kill off their own kind. She grew confused once she realized it was a useless task to watch over the self-destroying humans and grew jealous of them. How could God love something so stupid? How could God not love them the way that he loved the humans? All the gods ever did was please God. Soyala then decided to rebel, she took with her three other gods Neri, Nuru, and Addae and set off into the world of man telling the other rebel gods that she will send a signal for them to come down and help set things right.
