Chapter 4: Gathering Allies Part 2
Enter Koga and Shippo

Inuyasha’s POV
“Hey Mutt-face, what are you doing on my territory?” Right on time, fleabag. I thought as I turned to Koga. “Wolf-cub, how’s Ayame?” I asked smirking because I know he’s still jealous that Kagome pick me instead of him. “She’s fine.” He growled out, “Now answer my question mutt-face. What are you doing on my territory?” “Oh, so I can’t say ‘Hi’ to my favorite rival now, Koga? When did you become such a buzzkill?” I asked before looking over to Inu no senshi. He had that face that said ‘What the f***k is going on?’ “The day I ran into you.”Koga said(Ouch! need some ice for that burn Inuyasha), “I see you found another half-breed, what’s their story?” he asked. “I am Inu no Senshi and for the record Inuyasha didn’t find me,” Inu no Senshi said, “I was searching for him.”
“And for what reason would you have for searching for this mutt? Looking for a half-breed friend?” Koga asked. I winced before saying, “Get off his back, Koga. He has a good reason to seek me out. His father was my father’s second in command.” “Well what was this ‘Noble’ reason of yours?” Koga asked smirking. “I can see into the future, a trait I inherited from my late mother, my mother warned me that after Naraku’s defeat, a new evil will rise.” Inu no Senshi started explained. “Oh and what does this have to do with me?” Koga interrupted. “Shuddup fleabag, and maybe you’ll find out.” I growled at the wolf.
“ In a recent vision, I was shown the people that are destined to defeat the rising evil. These heroes consist of: two girls, one with a bow and the other with a large boomerang; three men with swords(two of which are present); a monk; a cat with two tails; a fox and a wolf. Anything ring a bell, wolf boy?” Inu no Senshi said with a smirk. I knew I liked him. I thought as Koga stared wide-eyed at the two of us. “I can tell you that I am the wolf in you vision, but what are we up against?” Koga asked. “That we still don’t know, but we need you ready at anytime especially on the day of black sun.” Inu no Senshi said, “What I do know is that the evil is a girl with midnight blue hair that has something to do with a spider.” Inu no Senshi said. “Well, you can count on me to be ready.” Koga said, “Good luck finding everyone else.” “Thanks Koga, see ya around.” I said as Inu no Senshi and I ran back to the village.

Kagome’s POV
After I explaining the presence of Inu no Senshi, Sango and I went to the hot springs and talked about how our lives were going. “So Sango, are the twins starting to drive their father crazy yet?” I asked. “Yes, they are wanting to know how we met, but Miroku doesn’t want his image to them to be blurred by what he did while we were after the jewel shards.” she replied. “Well, he was a real hentai back then.” I said. “I’ll say. Anyways, how is your relationship with Inuyasha?” she asked.
“We both know that he is extremely overprotective of me and that he is stubborn. In truth, I don’t exactly know where our relationship stands right now. I know he loves me and all, but…” I said sinking into the heated water. “But he hasn’t said anything to you, saying what you already know or if he really wants to spend the rest of his life with you.” Sango said as I nodded in agreement. “Kagome, you and I both know that he is new to the whole being in love thing since his last ‘love’ relationship ended with Naraku deceiving him and Kikyo into killing each other. So, don’t worry he’ll come around.” she gave me a hug before we both got out and dressed.  “Where did Inuyasha take Inu no Senshi, Kagome?” she asked. “He probably took him to see Koga since we think that he may be the wolf in the vision. They should be back soon, it’s rather late.” I told her. “Do you know when Shippo will be back tomorrow?” “He should be back around high sun, Kagome.” She replied as we arrived at the hut Miroku and her shared. “Goodnight Kagome. See you in the morning.” Sango said as she entered her home. “Goodnight Sango.” I said as I walked towards Kaede’s hut, where Inuyasha and I have been staying until our hut was finished. “Evening Kagome, how was yer visit with Sango?” Kaede asked when I entered. “It was eventful, even after Inuyasha left with Inu no Senshi.” I said. “Ye must be exhausted, lie down and rest. They should be back by morning.” Kaede said. I laid down on a futon, that was laid out for me, and thought, Inuyasha, please be safe. Before I fell asleep.
