Chapter 7: Countdown to destruction Part 2: Attacked from the shadows(Day)

Inuyasha’s POV
I woke up early to go hunt, so I carefully moved Kagome off of me and quietly made my way out. "Where do you think you're going Inuyasha?" I heard a voice come from behind me. I turned to see Inu no Senshi stand in the doorway of the hut. “What you want to come with me? I’m a man, I don’t need someone to babysit me.” I said to him as he walked up to me. “I didn’t say you needed a chaperone. All I’m saying is that you shouldn’t go out by yourself you saw what happened to Shippo, even though he was with us no one was truly paying him any attention except for me.” he said . “Ok you can tag along.” I said as we both left the village.

Kagome’s POV
I woke up to find Inuyasha and Inu no Senshi gone. Did they go to train. I guess I should train today as well. I thought stretching. “Sango...Sango...Sango, I’m ready to start training.” I whispered to my still sleeping best friend. “Ok. Let me get MIroku off me before we leave. Kilala, can you stay with him and Shippo?” she asked her ever faithful cat demon which mewed in affirmation. “Thanks Kilala, I knew I could rely on you.” she said as we both took our leave.

Inu no Senshi’s POV
Inuyasha and I were walking for awhile until he suddenly stopped in front of me. “What is it?” I asked. “I smell boar and deer not too far from here. Also a lake where there are sure to be fish.” He said. “You’re really good at this. Did someone teach you?” I asked. “No, years of fending for myself taught me to hunt this well. Haven’t you hunted before?” he asked as he closed in on a deer. “Well, whenever I did, it ended up getting away.” I said as a large bead of sweat formed on my head. “Well I’ll let you have the honors of killing this deer.” He said pointing to one of the two, “I’ll show you how to do it if you’d like.” “Sure, show me.” I said.

Sango’s POV
“Ok Kagome, I’m going to teach you to use a katana.” I said drawing my katana. “Where is mine?” She asked. “Since the last time I let you use a blade you nearly gave me a haircut, you get a wooden katana.” I said handing her the piece  of wood shaped like a sword. “Now what?” She asked.

Unknown's POV
Now is the perfect time to strike while they are separated.

Miroku’s POV
I was meditating in the hut I share with Sango when  something flew past my head. What the hell was that?
I thought as it hit the wall in front of me. I took a closer look to see it was a shuriken. Where did  this come from? And why is it here?  I was about to grab when it started to flash as bright as the sun.  I think I should get out of here before that thing does whatever it's going to do. I thought as I got up and ran out. Almost immediately after I exited the hut it blew up. I looked around to see if anyone near by may have seen who sabotaged my home, but no one was around. I then saw a girl in ninja clothing with golden accents hiding in the shadow. Before I got a chance to question her, she disappeared.  I wonder who that was? I thought before going to get supplies to rebuild the hut.
