Prologue

Inu no senshi’s POV
It all started before my mother died. My mother's name was Sakura. I didn’t have any friends in my village and everyone was afraid of me. My blood red hair and indigo eyes were a reminder to the people of how inhuman I was. Then my mother got very sick. I was scared of what would happen if she passed. One day I came home from gathering supplies to find my mother on the floor barely breathing. “Mother!” I screamed. “My son. I don’t have much time left.” she said with a little blood coming from her mouth. “Don't talk like that mother, you'll survive this.” I said with tears. “Your father had a friend named Inu no Taishō... He had a son as well… His name is Inuyasha… You must... find him... There is an evil person to rise soon after the defeat of Naraku… with my dying breathe I tell you...that I love you with...all my heart...Stay strong my son.” Was the last thing she said before she left me forever. After that the villagers that hated me and my mother started a house fire. Luckily, I escaped with my mother's body before the fire got too close. I ran away from the place I used to call home with my mother's body to a nearby Sakura tree. I dug a hole directly under the tree, so I could bury her. “Mother, I'll get stronger and protect the future.” I said as I looked at the grave I just made. Not long after I left her grave, I was attacked by a demon. “Little boy, you're not welcome here. You're the bastard child of a youkai and a human. I think I'll make you my dinner.” It said just before it started to chase me. Just my luck, I had to run into a demon didn't I? I couldn't just go a different way. Just had to make that right at the big tree. I thought as I ran for my life. I came around a fallen tree and hid in it. The demon that was chasing me long since gave up. As of that day I became a rurouni.
As the years went by many tried to kill me, but failed because I found my father’s sword. Every time they tried to kill me I remembered my promise over my mother's grave. I had a mission to fulfill. I still hadn’t found Inuyasha after 53 years. I came across a village that had a extensive forest and a dry well just before my supplies ran out. I went a month with no food or clean water, so I was utterly exhausted. I just passed the Biggest tree in the forest before I collapsed.

Author’s POV
A beautiful summer day in feudal era. Sango and Miroku were taking care of their children, while Inuyasha and Kagome were hanging out by the God’s tree.

Inuyasha’s POV
“What a nice day, huh Inuyasha?” Kagome said while I was sitting in the God tree. She was wearing a weird kimono called a t-shirt and some weird hakama called shorts or something. “Sure I guess it's nice.” I said looking down at her. She was looking at a pile of something not too far from the tree. “What's that?”She asked. “How am I supposed to know, but I think we're about to find out. Come on Kagome.” I said getting down and walking towards the heap. As I got closer, I noticed that it wasn't a just a pile of stuff as I had first thought. It looked like a person. “Kagome, get some water and food then come back here!” I commanded. “And since when are you in charge of me?” She asked. “Kagome just do it and quickly.” I said before I lost what little patience I had. I then came a bit closer to the fallen person. “Are you alright?” I asked but the person didn't answer. Ok either they are dead or unconscious. Well I don't smell blood on them so I'm going to guess they passed out. I thought as Kagome came back with the stuff I asked for. “What are you going to do?” Kagome asked.  “I'm going to move em to the shade first off.” I said as I started to half dragged the person to the shade of the God’s tree. “Then you are going to get them some water and set the food beside them.” I continued. “Again since when do I take orders from you?” Kagome asked. “Kagome please, you know as well as I that if they don't get water they will surely will die.” I said. Kagome looked at me like she always does when I actually care for someone but myself. “Fine, I'll do it.” Kagome said as she came up to the person and gave the person some water them set the food and canteen next to them. “Let go Kagome, I don't know if they are friend of foe so we should leave so if they are a foe we don't risk you getting hurt.” I said. “Awwww Inuyasha, I didn't know you cared.” she said. “feh. Whatever let's go.” I said turning away from her to hide my blush. We made it back to the village and sat with Miroku and Shippo, who were watching Miroku and Sango’s kids.

Inu no senshi’s POV
I awoke to find that I was under the big tree I saw earlier. I looked around to see someone had left me some food and water. I ate and drank all of the content, then I decided that it was time to leave. So I got up and kept it moving. I have to find Inuyasha before the rise of the evil my deceased mother warned me of.

Author’s POV
Little did Inu no senshi know that the person that help him was the same person he was looking for.
