Chapter 32 - A Weasel Christmas

A few more months had passed. Itachi and I had our wedding date planned. July 12th and it was going to be on the beach. My wedding dress was being altered and I had an idea of what my bridesmaid dresses were going to be. It was now near Christmas. I was in the office making the last alterations to change everything to Uchiha Corporations and give the title to Itachi and Sasuke. There was soon a knock on my door. "Come in" I said, as I smiled seeing grandfather. "Ah, there's my granddaughter" he said, as I smiled. "Hi grandfather" I said, as he looked around. "It will be different without seeing this name flourish, but after everything that has happened I don't think it deserves to" he said, as I smiled and hugged him. "You know I only helped the business because of you" I said, as he smiled. "I know and I am grateful" he said, as I smiled. "Scarlet- oh" said Itachi walking through the office doors. "Ah, Weasel" said grandfather, as Itachi smirked. "Now make sure my granddaughter is kept safe and if I hear any complaining that your not home enough. I'll whip you" he said, as Itachi smirked. "I know" said Itachi, as my grandfather smiled walking passed him. "Ready to go?" asked Itachi, as I smiled and nodded. Itachi drove me home and we walked into the apartment. Once inside I saw Sasuke dead on the floor and Naruto dead on the couch. They then stopped looking at me and they ran towards me. "Scarlet your home" said Naruto "We're hungry, Itachi can't cook like you can" said Sasuke, as I smiled. "Alright" I said walking towards the kitchen. I started making them something to eat, put it on a plate, and served it to Sasuke and Naruto. I started opening books and looking at things. "Alright, the priest has been booked. Chairs and things have been organized. The reception will be placed at the hotel ballroom. Flowers have been ordered. Oh and the cake" I said, as Sasuke narrowed his eyes. "Oi Itachi shouldn't you be helping with this stuff" said Sasuke, as Itachi sighed closing his eyes. "It's ok. I just have a few more things to do" I said, as Sasuke growled. Let's see, Itachi have you decided on your best man yet?" I asked. "Not yet" he said, as I sighed. "Can you please choose someone so I can give them the rings to hold onto" I said, as he sighed closing his eyes. "Alright, got the food. Uh, I feel like I'm missing something" I said, as Sasuke looked at me. "Oi Itachi you have your tuxedos right?" asked Sasuke, as Itachi got up and walked over. "Yes" he said, as Sasuke smirked. "Oh now I remember. I need someone in charge of the music" I said, as I picked up the phone. "Hi Sasori" I said. "Yes, alright thanks" I said hanging up. "Your having Sasori?" asked Itachi, as I narrowed my eyes. "Want me to get Hidan or Tobi to do it?" I asked, as he closed his eyes. "Oh that's another thing, I need to phone Kisame to plan your bachelor party" I said, as his eyes widened. "What?" he said, as I crossed my arms. "Please your not getting out of a humiliating party that I can use against you" I said, as he growled and I smirked. "I'll do it" said Sasuke, as Itachi punched his head. "Like hell you will" said Itachi, as I smiled. "Sasuke. You and Naruto are too young for that kind of thing; but you can come to the wedding reception okay" I said, as they pouted. "I hope these make up for missing the Bachelor party" I said handing them gifts. "Awesome" said Naruto "Your the best Scarlet" said Sasuke, as I smiled. Naruto opened his present and he smiled having a heavy leather orange jacket with his name on the back. Sasuke opened his to have a blue one with his name on the back. "Awesome" they said, as I smiled. "I'll be right back I have to go check on something" said Itachi getting up and walking out the door. "He's been acting so weird lately... more so than usual" I said, as Sasuke narrowed his eyes. "Hey Scarlet, what is the craziest thing you have ever done when you were our age?" asked Naruto, as I smiled. "I don't think so" I said walking to the couch. They ran over and sat in front of me. "Come on tell us" said Naruto, as I narrowed my eyes. Itachi then came back and he looked at us. "What's going on?" he asked "Scarlet was just telling us about the crazy stuff she did when she was our age" said Sasuke "Eh, so you told them you have a tattoo" said Itachi, as their eyes widened and I growled. "Eh, you have a tattoo" said Naruto "Wait, they didn't know that" said Itachi "well now they do" I said, as he sighed. "So where is it huh?" asked Naruto, as I sighed and punched his head. "Go to bed both of you" I said pointing, as they smirked and ran to their room. I sat on the couch and sighed. "What's wrong?" asked Itachi. "Nothing, feeling old I guess" I said. "Oh that's right, it's your birthday on Christmas" he said, as I sighed and kissed him. "Night Itachi" I said kissing his cheek and walking to the bedroom.

The next day I woke up and saw Itachi hovering over me. "Morning" he said, as I smiled. "Morning" I said, as he kissed my lips and I kissed him back. "Uh, Scarlet, Itachi" said Naruto's voice, as we turned our head seeing him covering his eyes. "Naruto, we have clothes on you can look" I said, as he peeked through his fingers. "Can we open our presents now?" he asked, as I smiled and Itachi sighed closing his eyes. "Hold on we're coming" I said, as Naruto nodded we got up and walked towards the Christmas tree seeing tons of gifts. I paused as the door knocked and opened it. I smiled seeing Lilith, Deidara, Grandfather and Kakashi. "Come on in" I said, as they walked in. Everyone opened their presents and we started eating breakfast. Itachi put another present in front of me. "You already gave me a Christmas present" I said showing him the bracelet. He smirked and kissed my forehead. "I know, it's a birthday present" he said, as I stopped. Images of what my mother popped into my head doing the same thing when I was little. I opened it and I paused as the lid started bumping up and down. "Ghost" shouted Naruto, as Sasuke growled and punched his head. I looked at Itachi and he smirked. I slowly opened the box and my eyes widened. It was a kitten. "Aww" said Lilith, as it looked at everyone scared. I slowly held out my hand, the kitten sniffed my hand, and then nudged it's head against my hand. I picked him up and the kitten nudged against me. I got up and I walked in front of Itachi "This is the best birthday present I have ever gotten" I said, as Itachi smiled. "I know" he said, as I smiled and kissed his lips. "Have you thought of a name?" asked Naruto, as I looked at the cat meowing. "I think I'll call him... weasel" I said, as Lilith giggled and Itachi smiled. "I don't get it, what's so funny?" asked Naruto "That was Itachi's pet name. Scarlet and grandfather gave him" said Lilith "Really?" said Sasuke, as Itachi smirked closing his eyes. "Merry Christmas everyone" said Kakashi, as we all clanged our water glasses together.
