Chapter 34 - Bloodline

We started walking and then Ryuu walked up to me. "Scarlet, I was wondering if we could talk" he said, as Sasuke and Naruto looked back and forth. "Uh, we were kind of on our way home" I said, as he looked at Naruto and Sasuke. Then he smiled towards me. "Well how about you give me your address and I'll stop by" he said, as Sasuke and Naruto's eyes widened. "Hey she's taken pal" shouted Naruto, as I sighed. "Itachi" I said, as he smirked pushing Naruto and Sasuke forward. "Here" I said handing him the address. Sasuke and Naruto's eyes widened and they looked at Itachi. "Your letting her do this to you" said Sasuke, as Itachi closed his eyes. "Move it" said Itachi, as he looked at me. "You've really grown up" he said, as I closed my eyes. "I still hate you" I said, as he chuckled and closed his eyes. "I know" he said, as I walked two steps and then paused. "By the way" I said, as he looked at me. "Your still a Wacko doctor" I said walking away and he smirked. I walked out of the hospital and saw Itachi in the driver seat of the convertible with Sasuke and Naruto pouting in the back. "What's with them?" I asked, as Itachi smirked. "They think your cheating on me" he said, as I sighed and punched their heads. "Idiots" I said jumping in the passenger seat and closed my eyes as Itachi started driving. "So who was he?" asked Naruto "My biological father" I said, as they stopped and looked at each other. "So why does he want to know you now?" asked Sasuke, as I closed my eyes. "Who knows? Probably because I told him I had a fiancé" I said, as Sasuke and Naruto looked at each other. "So he knew about Itachi?" asked Sasuke, as I looked back at them. "After everything that has happened you really think I would cheat on Itachi, especially in front of him?" I asked, as Naruto smiled nervously and Sasuke pouted turning his head away. Itachi parked the car in the underground parking lot and we made our way to the apartment. I opened the door and smiled seeing weasel running up to me. "Meow" he said, as I lifted him up and started rubbing his tummy. "Aww did you miss mommy?" I asked, as Weasel meowed again. "I swear she loves that cat more than you" said Sasuke, as Itachi smirked closing his eyes and he shut the door behind him once everyone was inside. I sat on the couch and watched as Sasuke and Naruto started playing video games. Itachi sat next to me and nuzzled his face into my neck. "Itachi how long are you going to do that?" I asked, as Sasuke and Naruto stopped and smiled at each other. "Oi Weasel" I said, as I stopped seeing that Itachi had fallen asleep on me. I smiled and cuddled next to him. "Scarlet" said Sasuke, as I looked at him. "I don't want to stay here by myself. Can I stay with you and Itachi even when your having a baby?" asked Sasuke, as I smiled. "Of course Sasuke. To tell the truth I'm getting used to taking care of you" I said "me too?" asked Naruto, as I nodded.

The door then knocked and I looked at Sasuke. "Could you answer the door?" I asked, as Sasuke nodded. I turned to Itachi and shook him a bit. "Oi Weasel get up" I said, as Itachi moaned a bit. I then pulled on his ear and his eyes widened. "Alright, alright, I'm up" he said, as I smiled. "Well that's good to know. I would have been insulted if Scarlet's fiancé was sleeping during my visit" said Ryuu, as Itachi held me close and I closed my eyes. Sasuke closed the door and sat in front of me on the floor and Naruto came closer to me too. "So why did you want to come over?" I asked, as he smiled and sat down in the chair to the right side of us. "I just thought it would be nice chatting with you" he said, as I narrowed my eyes. "Liar" I said, as he chuckled closing his eyes. "Onto me as usual huh?" he said, as I narrowed my eyes. "Well, I need to ask you a favour as a business woman" he said. "You need money for your practice again?" I asked, as Itachi looked at me. "Again?" he said, as I sighed closing his eyes. "He came to me once when I was sixteen asking me to ask my father for money" I said, as Itachi closed his eyes. "Actually since your a business woman. I was hoping you would give me your sponsors" he said, as I narrowed my eyes. "Let me guess you need them because your original sponsors figured out you were a bum" I said, as he sighed. "Come on now Scarlet, I am your father can't you help me out?" he asked, as I narrowed my eyes. "No" I said, as he sighed. "Scarlet just because your angry that I didn't take care of you doesn't give you an excuse to be a brat" he said, as everyone's eyes widened. "What the hell" shouted Naruto "Sasuke, Naruto, to your rooms please" I said. "But Scarlet" said Sasuke, as I smiled while patting their heads. "Take Weasel with you please" I said handing Weasel over to Sasuke. They walked to their rooms but kept the door open to listen. "I'm sorry you feel that way" I said turning my head. "So you think your grown up? Deep down Scarlet, you know your doing this to get back at me" he said, as I stopped and glared at him. "Right there. That's my glare bent on revenge" he said, as I started shaking my fists a bit. "Actually the reason she said no is because it's no longer her company" said Itachi, as we looked at him. Itachi held my hand and pulled me close. "Right now her grandfather is running the company until we get married. Then it will be officially changed to Uchiha Corporations" said Itachi, as his eyes widened. "Your giving up your mother's company for him?" said Ryuu pointing at Itachi. I smiled hugging Itachi. "Yes, I am" I said, as Itachi smiled down at me. "But why?" asked Ryuu, as I sighed. "Not that it's any of your business "Daddy" but I hate anything to do with business. Itachi assured me that he would take care of me and we're going to be happy together" I said, as Ryuu sighed closing his eyes. "You are definitely nothing like me or your mother" he said, as I looked at him standing up. "Your mother wouldn't let any man have her business and I wouldn't give up my life to be with someone" he said, as I glared at him. "Then I guess that's why your in the poor house and mother died unhappy" I said, as he was about to slap me but Itachi stopped him and glared at Ryuu. "Get out" said Itachi, as Ryuu hpmhed and closed his eyes. "Careful. She could leave you stained" said Ryuu walking out the door. Itachi closed it and growled. "Itachi" I said, as he looked at me. His eyes widened seeing tears crawling down my face. I reached out my hand and he walked over holding my hand close. "I'm sorry" I said, as he cupped my face and I closed my eyes feeling his hand moving to the back of my head. My eyes widened, as Itachi hugged me. I closed my eyes again and moved my hands to wrap around his waist embracing his hug. "Don't be sorry for anything. He's not worth it" he whispered, as I smiled and hugged Itachi more. I knew at that moment Itachi was the only one I wanted to spend the rest of my life.
