Chapter 3:
Out of al the classes, and I'm sure they're many, he had to be in this one. The sight of him frighten me and I quickly looked with the rest of the class. Staring at him is dangerous enough.
" So, ya i'm late. I was getting my schedule change." JC said bored leaning against a counter.
" Oh okay, take any sit you want. What;s your name sir?" Our teacher asked.
The smirking boy walked up the aisle next to me and stopped next to a brunette with frizzy hair and glasses. That used to be me. I frowned at what the poor girl goes through, and of course being so close to him.
"Im JC Caylen, and you're in my sit." He announced. The girl wasted no time getting up and scurrying away to the back corner. He sat next to me coolly. I thought my heart was going to burst out of my chest. "Hey babe" He whispered to me smirking. Not sure what to do, I just looked straight ahead.
" Hey! That was Liliana's seat!" Connor said coming to my rescue.
" Who's that?" He said acting dumb.
" Oh you know, just another girl you like to push around" Sam said back, clenching the desk. I thought he was going to break it. He sure did have a temper for a smaller guy.
"Okay guys, we need to get to work. Liliana, is it okay if JC sits there?" Mr.Flyod said annoyed. Wasn't he going to punish JC for scaring her?
JC turned to face. She quickly nodded her head. He turned around smiling, feeling triumphed.
"Remember, you're mine" JC leaned over whispering to me licking his lip the winking at me.
I wanted to scream. Connor frowned at me mouthing a sorry, I was the one who would soon be sorry.

After 50 minutes of me trying not to cry, the class finally ended. Surprisingly JC did't look at me for the rest of the period. As I started to stand up, I felt an arm around my shoulders. A scared gap came out of me.
" Relax Vic, it's just me" Connor gave me admiring smile. I couldn't help smiling back and being glad it was his arm. It's always hard for me to find the right words. All the tv and movies i've watched must've taught me something about socializing...
"Good" I smiled. Simple but not weird. Right? I looked behind me and found that JC wasn't there. This actual worried me... was he hiding and going to jump out at me? I wondered to myself. My face must've showed my anxious expression because Connor pulled me closer.
" Hey, it's going to be okay. I'll protect you"
Shocked, I say "Wow, thanks. I'm really glad I met you."
"I'm really glad I met you" He studied my face. We continued walking out the door.
" I am sad to say, I don't think I have any more classes with you" He frowned.
" Darn, I'm not sure how I could survive without you" I joked thinking of what a cute funny girl would say. He chuckled.
" You know, we should hang out sometime. Hey, meet me at lunch at the tree," he pointed at a big tree " I mean, is it okay if I take you out?" He sounded eager.
" Can't wait!" I smiled at him. He grinned back leaving me with the happiest thoughts that I haven't had in years. I shouldn't of been to excited, for it didn't last long.
