Chapter 6: Crushes Oh

Chapter 6:

I stay in my locked room for 2 more hours just laying there, thinking... JC has been in my house... After one day with him, how could I survive 354 more days? Hopefully Connor would be there to protect me. Just thinking about him made me smile like a little kid. 

The front door opens and I hear my dad's familiar footsteps.

"  I am home Vic!" He shouted upstairs, seeming tired. I call back to him letting him know i'm home. He wouldn't notice if I was gone. 

I finish my homework the grab a pear. Connor reminded me how much I needed food... and he called me beautiful... what a day.

Sleep finally takes me away somewhere less stress full.

The blaring alarm startles me. After a couple minutes, I go and get ready. I quickly pull on a light floral dress with some cute new brown boots. The I remember what happened yesterday. Oh God wish me luck.

I arive at school when my phone buzzes. At first im worried it's JC again telling me he's watching me. I could almost feel his cold hard eyes looking at me. Shiver.

I go and grab my phone and smile.

Connor: Waiting 4 u at the front gate (: see you soon beautiful 

My mind starts to relax knowing JC wont get me.  I start speed walkng toward the gate.,

" Wow you can walk fast" A familiar voice says behind me.

I turn to stare at the golden boy. " Hey" I give him a shy smile.

" Hello, my dear." He says walking up to me. He may relax my mind, but he makes my stomach go crazy.

" Come out and hang with my friends today. They really want to meet you. And Megan really likes you."

" The try outs are going to be post tonight!" I said out loud.

" You made it" He said simply smiling.

" How do you know?"

" Megan is my best friend. So she would um help make the girl I like happy." He blushed causing me to stop walking, stunned.

" Like, like like, or just like?"

He laughs " Like like." He walks up and grabs my hand. I thought I might faint on the spot. " I know we just met... but I really like you." 

" I um i.. I really like you too" I rush the words out of my mouth. I needed to change the subject fast before I freak out.

" So, how is um Sam holding up" His bright face suddenly becomes sullen.

"Not to good. He liked Katlyn. But I always got a bad vibe from her. She always wanted what she couldn't. Now I guess her and JC are a thing. Just for the week anyways. He'll find another girl who wants a taste of rebellion."

All of the JC memories rush into my head. I really wish I could tell Connor, but he would try to beat up JC, and well, JC might murder him. Who knows? I certainly didn't.

"Oh" Is all I could say.

" Is everything oka?" He said concern.

" Yeah. Just don't wanna run into JC" At least im being kinda honest.

We reach the classroom that we shared with the devil.

" Woah, hands off of my girl." So the devil speaks. We whip around to see JC's wide grin looking at our hands.

" She isn't your girl, and never will be" Connor sneered but JC just laughed and walked past him whispering " I already got Sam's girl and she nothing compared to her." The there was a large smack. Or punch. Connor just punched him right in the face. I scream and take a step back.

" What is the matter?" Mr.Flyod comes running out and gasps at a huge red mark on JC's face. I could feel JC boiling with anger but he just turns always clenching his fist.

" I...I.. I punched JC" Connor said shocked, surprised he could do such a thing. We both knew he deserved it though.

Mr.Flyod was also surprised. " Well since it wasn't bad, you will be suspended for the rest of the day Mr.Franta. Please go to the office.."

I almost screamed. He couldn't leave me with him!

Connor frowned while JC turned around and got a smile on his face. He was probably planning this! How dare him. Now I wanted to punch him so.

" I am sorry Victoria. I will text you." Connor mumbled embarrassed and walked off.

"Well class starts in two minutes.." Mr. Floyd walked inside awkwardly.

" You disgust me. You were planning that the whole time." I growled.

" Oh, she's a smart cheerleader." JC smirked up at me.

"I can also call the police on you for trespassing inside my house!:

" I never did such a thing" He said sarcastically.

" Just leave me alone! Please!" I almost cried. His expression turned blank while he stared at me.

" I will never leave you alone." Not the answer that I wanted to hear. " You're different Victoria... i'm determined to find out all you secrets" after a minute he smiles and walks inside the classroom leaving me spinning.
