Chapter 21

Rory's pov

Pain searing pain. Venom burns through my veins. Coating them. It hurts so bad. I want to die. Dear goddess please let me die.

I feel a mixture of blood and Sebastian's tears on my neck as he continues to sink his teeth into me. I can't believe he's doing this to me. Suddenly the pain is replaced by something else. Pure pleasure. Unfortunately that was short lived as I felt my body collapsed from loss of energy, and everything soon went black. My last thought before passing out was

It's all going to be okay now.

Sebastian's pov

As I sunk my teeth into my little mates neck I couldn't help but cry. I felt awful. I just had to keep thinking this will make her pain go away. This will make our pain go away.

I can feel her pain and her pleasure in the link as she passes out in my arms. Slowly, I pull my teeth out of her neck. What happened next was incredible. Rory's skin returned to its original pink pale color, washing away the sickness. Her features and skinny frame filled in to her original natural curves I loved so much. Her bald head soon filled in with with her silky black hair giving her a shaggy pixie cut. Every scar, bruise, and scratch on her body went away. She was completely healthy.

And I was so fucking happy.

I kissed her on the forehead and laid next to her on the hospital bed. As I looked over to her mark I didn't see a bite mark or a scar, I saw a small black crescent moon.

Rory's pov

As my eyes fluttered open I felt so god damn amazing. Why do I feel so good when I was dying just a day ago? Suddenly the memories of the marking flooded back to me. Feeling Sebastian's weight around my body I jumped out of bed in a panic, running to the adjoining bathroom I looked in the mirror and couldn't believe what I saw.

My skin was flawless, my hair was back. I was back to my normal weight, and right where my shoulder meets my neck was a small black crescent moon. I smile. I'm as good as new. A mates mark will fix any illness as soon as it's given.

Wait.

I have a sudden realization and sprint out of my hospital room. I need to find my doctor.

Sebastian's pov

As I'm being shaken awake I can't help but growl. I look up to see Rory frantically waking me up.

"Princess your awake, how long has it been"

"You were asleep for a few hours but listen to me please."

"Rory what is it?"

"Sebastian, you marked me. I found the doctor. The baby, he's alive."
