The Akatsuki is seen having dinner at a table. It was quiet for the most part, Tobi, who visited time from time, was there with them. He stayed quiet, usually turning the other way to hide his face when eating. All of them decided not to wear their cloaks, except for Kisame, Kakuzu and Ishi.
Nothing strange happened, until Raine decided to spit out a chunk of chewed meat. It landed on the table with a splat.
"That's revolting." Bluntly spoke Sasori. He's seen picking at his food like a toddler, not making an effort to eat. The others just stared at Raine in confusion.
"Sorry. I don't eat meat that much." Raine wiped her mouth with a napkin. She was going to pick up her mess that was until Sara spat some acid on it. The chewed meat began to dissolve away.
"It's quicker." Sara shrugged. After that incident the members left and began to go on with their daily business. Raine notice Ishi going to the couch, Sara following Tobi and lastly Kūru....well she...she just went to her room.
"Here let me help." She turned to face Itachi holding a towel.
"Fine." She picked up some plates and began to walk past Itachi. Except she bumped into him, dropping the plates. It shattered.
"O-oh, I'm sorry. I-I...uhhh." Raine began to cover face in embarrassment. She quickly bent down and began to clean the mess she created. Unknown to him Raine was slightly blushing.
"It's fine." He tried to help but it only made things worse. Raine dropped the shards she picked up. "I-I got it." Itachi stepped back. Confused by her actions. Raine quickly picked up her mess and and began to placed them in the sink.
"You're bleeding." Raine looked at her hands. True to his words her hands was covered in red.
"It-it's fine. It'll heal quickly." But it didn't. It didn't patch up like it usually did, it stayed open. Blood flowed from her palms.
"Let me see." Gently he grabbed her hands. Carefully he observed it. His hands glowed a green hue and began to heal Raine's palm.
Once finished Raine retracted her hands. Looking down she said her thanks.
"You're welcome." Itachi gave a small smile.
—Somewhere else—
"Soo. Come here often?" Tobi's backed against a corner, a bit frighten from the sudden surprise. Above him Sara towered over, in a spider position. Hands and feet against the walls keeping her up.
"Sara-chan..." Tobi tried to past under her until she dropped down.
"Hey, hey. Leaving so soon?" Sara tried to touch his mask but her hand just phased through. Tobi took advantage of her shock and ran through her.
"H-hey! Where're you going!?" She began to run after Tobi.
What's with her?
In the midst of it all Kūru just stared at her partner in confusion. "Why though?" Deciding to not question any further she went to her room.
—Room—
"I think I'll need to find a new partner." She sat down on her chair and leaned back . "Then again Sara is a friend."
From outside the room she heard running footsteps and the noise of shattered plates. "Buut, she does do things out of the norm sometimes." She heard a crash. "She can be a little rash as well."
Someone knocked on the door. Kūru got up to open it to find Kakuzu.
"What do you want?" Kakuzu pointed at direction. "Tell your partner to stop breaking things." Kūru looked behind him to see a mess.
"What do you mean? She didn't break anything. Just a little mess here and there. Besides it's Raine who's breaking the dishes." True to her words another shattered plate got destroyed, followed up with a faint sorry.
"I don't care who's doing it just have them stop. It's annoying." Kūru sighed. She knew he was right but she didn't have the energy to stop them.
"If I give you money would you go?" He raised an eyebrow at this.
"1,000."
"200."
"600."
"500."
"800."
"700."
"200."
"1,000."
"Deal." Kūru just realized at the mistake she'd done. With a grumble she trudged inside and grabbed the necessary amount and came back.
"Here." She handed him the money.
"Pleasure doing business."
—Couch—
"What's up with everybody?" Ishi asked himself as he relaxed on the couch. His partner has been acting like a complete klutz, their rival, Sara has been chasing the one eyed mask dude and Kūru...Kūru...she just had a small argument with Kakuzu.
He closed his eyes and comfortably rested, slowly blocking out any other distracting noises.
"Oof." Ishi opened his eyes to see Konan sitting on his lap. "Hmm. I-...hmm. Aren't there any other seats?" He looked around, seeing little as possible as Konan was in front of him but managed. There were more opened seats for her to take.
"So..uhh...can y-"
"No." Her answer was fast and simple, surprising Ishi. She moved a little on his lap before finding a comfortable position. She leaned back against him.
"Ok." A tinge of redness covered his face. He leaned his head back and relaxed with a also relaxed Konan on him. Slowly both went to sleep.
In the background you can still hear Raine stuttering and embarrassed, Sara chasing after Tobi and Kūru being Kūru. Just a special day at the Akatsuki.
