The group lapse into comfortable silence and slowly the exhausted travellers fall asleep for the first time not having to worry about standing guard. The night passed quickly, but dreams were aplenty. Gina shuffles in her sleep as a familiar white haired, dark skinned woman approaches her.

"Florence" She frowns. "Why have you come to see me? Why now?" The older woman smiles showing only a few teeth and shuffles forward.

"You have grown Georgina, I can see it in your eyes" Gina stays silent crossing her arms. "Oh, my dear, you seem to be mad at something. Is it me?"

Gina stands quickly and plants herself in front of Florence. "Yes, I am mad at you Florence, I watched my friends die, my sister die, I was forced out of my town because they believed you had settled into my body. I was alone for seventy years Flo, I couldn't even have a companion because they all die. I couldn't even hold a job for too long. And the Skipping? Oh, that was the worst. I nearly died so many times only to find I had to suffer while I healed for weeks – Months even, just because I couldn't die." Gina stops to see Florence looking to the ground, her lips trembling.

"I know you meant well, you wanted to reward me. But it's hard Flo, I started talking to trees just to get a conversation going."

Florence looks up to Gina's eyes and smiles "It wasn't meant to be easy, if it was it wouldn't be such a reward" Gina frowns and goes over Florence's words in her mind.

"What?" Gina still doesn't get Florence's words.

"The reward is finding your Cordë, it will be a much sweeter reward to find him after all this time than to have him handed to you on a silver platter. Plus-" Florence smiles "Such a good-looking man is worth the trouble don't you think?"

"Who is he? Florence!" Florence walks away while Gina calls after her.

"Such beautiful hair, and that scruff" She sighs dramatically "A King among men" She turns and fans her face before vanishing.

"Him?" Gina questions "But he has somebody already"

Gina curls tighter and Aragorn's head tilts towards her as he drifts to sleep, the pair moving closer between each twitch

"Go to sleep" He hears a familiar voice whisper

"I am asleep" he retorts his eyes opening "This is a dream" Arwen stands before him.

"Then it is a good dream" She leans in to kiss him but stops millimetres away "Your heart is promised to another" She whispers "One of your own kin"

Aragorn shakes his head "My heart belongs to you" They both sit up.

"Perhaps it did once" Arwen looks out of the room they were sitting in "But not any longer"

Aragorn frowns, he knows that Elves only love once, for him to leave her would be to leave her heart broken. "What is to become of you?" He questions.

"I will sail to the undying lands like my father intends, you must go to her" Arwen stands and moves to the balcony ledge "She will not come of her free will" Aragorn walks up beside her.

"Who is she?" He asks looking at the starlit sky.

"That I cannot tell"

"Min lû pedich nin... i aur hen telitha" Aragorn pulls her into a side hug

(You told me once... This day would come)

"Ú i vethed... nâ i onnad. Boe bedich go Frodo. Han bâd lîn" Arwen replies

(This is not the end... it is the beginning. You must go with Frodo this is your path)

"Dolen i vâd o nin" Aragorn looks to Arwen in despair they look at each other for a few seconds.

(My path is hidden from me)

"Si peliannen i vâd na dail lîn. Si boe ú-dhannathach" Arwen's hand moves to his chest "Ae ú-esteliach nad... estelio han" Her hand sits on his heart just below the Evenstar.

(It is already laid before your feet. You cannot falter now** If you trust nothing else trust this)

Aragorn looks at her hand then to the necklace. "Here" he takes the jewel off and holds it out to Arwen "Take it"

"It is not mine to take, it was a gift" She looks at her necklace in sorrow "Keep it as a token of our friendship" Aragorn takes her hand and they look into each other's eyes. Slowly they kiss, their emotions pouring into their lips. And finally, they part.

Gina walked alongside Indigo a couple children riding on his back as the group trudged along. A frantic mother comes up alongside Gina thanking her and pulling her children away quickly before Gina could get a word in sideways. Shrugging she mounts her horse and decides to go and bother Legolas.

She spots him standing on a nearby hill watching the path for possible dangers. Two other riders pass her leisurely pace and disappear over the hill crest. A scream erupts and Indigo rears up, Gina nearly slipping. Aragorn returns with riders at his back. He stops Gina. "Go with the others to Helms Deep" He commands Gina glares at his as he rides past before lifting her shirt and pulling the black object from its sheath. The deadly black exterior glints in the sun while Gina's fingers work expertly to take check the canister and take off the safety. She knew that she probably shouldn't use a modern weapon in this world but she sure as hell didn't want to die when her Cordë was so close.

Galloping alongside the women, children and horseless men until they were out of harm's way gave Gina time to think up a battle plan. Well, sort of.

She returned over the hill's peak shooting at the fleeing Orcs and Wargs. Gina hears Legolas call out for Aragorn and trots Indigo towards him. Gimli joins in. Suddenly her lungs feel constricted and she struggles to breath. Indigo reaches round with his nose to position the gasping girl on his back. Gina chokes as the sensation of invisible water slides down her throat. And in a swift movement she falls off Indigo and crumples to the feet of Legolas. He picks her up and mounts her horse to follow the troops back to Helms Deep.
