Gina groans in annoyance, they didn't linger at Isengard, Saruman had put up a weak fight, been impaled by a water wheel and died right after he killed Grima. This quest was going on far too long for Gina, most of her involvements in other worlds had been at the most three weeks. This one had lasted nearly a month and a half and her bum hurt from all the riding she was doing.

Currently they rode with great haste to Medulseld back to the halls of Théoden. As soon as the group made it to the gates of the township Gina rode Indigo into his stall, untacked him and settled down beside him to take a, in her opinion, well deserved nap. And it seemed all to soon when she was being shaken awake by Aragorn.

"Tonight, we remember those who gave their blood to defend this country." Théoden calls as he is faced with a crowd of his people. "Hail the victorious dead"

"Hail" Comes the reply as everyone lifts their drink. The party that follows allows Gina to relax a bit as she drinks ale and other brews. She sees Eowyn offer Aragorn a drink and instead of the flair of jealously she was expecting a wave of sadness pulls her gut down. If someone like Eowyn, pretty, royalty, kind, actually listened to, could not sway him from his Elleth then nothing could. She turns away in attempt to get her mind off him.

Aragorn watches Gina as she dances through the night, then gets more glum as the seconds' tick by. He thinks she is pining for her home, that she will never truly love him. He sighs and turns away in attempt to get his mind off her.

Aragorn watches the four sleep, his attention particularly focused on Gina, she sleeps with her pack wrapped in her arms tightly and her hair splayed out over the pillow. He sighs recognising that one of his fellowship is not there. Just as he turns to go Gina twitches in her sleep and mumbles something, he moves closer to hear better "My" She mumbles "Aragor-Cordë" He lets out a rumbling chuckle as he moves out of the hall to find his Elven friend. He does not have to look hard, Legolas is watching over the kingdom on the edge of the stone balcony.

Gina is dreaming of her Cordë, but her wistful dreams are interrupted by a choking sound. She stands rapidly, a pocket knife in hand to defeat whatever foe dared disturb her slumber. Aragorn bursts through the door, Legolas in tow. The selfless Ranger leaps towards Pippin and grabs the ball from him, which causes him and Gina to fall to the floor as they lose control over their muscles and their minds a torn into.

Gandalf takes the ball quickly from the Ranger and wraps it away. "Fool of a Took" Is all he cries as his attention goes to Pippin. When he realises the Hobbit isn't moving, he rushes forward and pushes his little friend out of the way. Gina sits up and rubs her head as she watches Gandalf chant over the still body of the Hobbit.

When she sees that Pippin is alive she crawls back into bed and goes back to sleep, ignoring the perturbed glances of her comrades. Gina grins to herself right before she nods off, once upon a time magic scared her, oh what a long way she had come.

The morning came quickly and Gina was one of the first awake, she wandered to the dining hall and ate quickly and went to sit outside to watch the sunrise. She was brought out of her thoughts by the realisation that the hall behind her was empty. Deciding that the men she found company in were having a 'man' talk without her she went to the king's hall to interrupt their conversation.

Gina throws open the double doors and crosses her arms in annoyance. The occupants turned to the angry woman, she raised an eyebrow. "We are going to talk after this important conversation Gandalf" her angry stance deflates and she looks sad, Aragorn starts after her but Gandalf stops him with a hand on his chest.

Gina walks to the stable, down to Indigo's stall, opens his stall gate, quickly mounts him and with her hand twisted in his mane she gives his side a squeeze with her heels. Indigo, sensing his riders distress gallops out of the city and with Gina bent over his neck he takes her past a hill to a small cave that they both used to go to when he was a foal. Gina however stayed on his back and sniffed a bit. Through her years, she had been told she couldn't do something because she was a woman, because she wasn't of this world. In middle earth and with Dumbledore was the only time she wasn't told she couldn't because of who she was.

After Gina finishes moping she dismounts Indigo and takes off her pack that travelled everywhere with her. She pulls out a small diary and groans when she sees the little red circle around the number. She shoves it back into her pack and enters the cave.

Aragorn was concerned about Gina, no one had seen her, that was until he approaches Eomer, the young man knows exactly where she would have gone. He takes Aragorn to the stables to question the stable boys and when he gets the nod of the small blonde he tells Aragorn to get his horse. The both tack up quickly and make for the distant hills.

Gina lies on the hillside while Indigo grazes. She watches the clouds, there were two clumps of condensation each with bits that lunged towards each other. Gina sighed, if even the sky was at war with its self what hope did the people of the land have against the reckless hate of the Necromancer. She felt the earth rumble as hoofbeats echoed in her ears. She knew that Eomer had come to check on her, but with who remained unseen.

A sudden wave of pain hit her abdomen and she curled into the foetal positon with a groan, Indigo trotting over to nudge her, then when he was sure she was alive he moves off smelling the pheromones she was releasing and not wanting to be caught on her bad side.

Eomer motions for them to dismount and Aragorn follows his movements. They walk around the hillside to find Gina curled in the long grass. Aragorn runs to her side and places a hand on her shoulder. Gina groans in pain and Aragorn begins to panic. "Are you alright?" He asks looking her over.

"No" Gina groans again "My uterus is tearing itself to shreds" Aragorn pales at the mention of her problem.

"Can I do anything?" He asks gently as Eomer chuckles quietly in the background.

"Yes" She groans "Kick Eomer up the ass, the go to my home and bring me back a tub of ice-cream" Aragorn looks up to Eomer who's eyes widened as he backs off.

"I'm afraid I cannot fetch your ice-cream" Aragorn tells Gina gently.

"Bugger off then, let me suffer in peace" Is her only reply as she rolls over
