I gathered my self as i sat in my car out side of Olive Garden. Today was the day. Shun and Shell would finally met. I chose a public place so things wouldnt get to crazy. Hopefully no one would cause a scene. I texted them both to met me here. So now im sitting in my car waiting to see who would show up first.
I saw Shell car first. She was on time as usually. She looked beautiful with her yellow sundress on with her small baby bump sticking out . Her long hair flowed in the wind as she made her way up the steps checking her phone. I was so into watching her I almost didnt hear my phone ringing. I checked the id thinking it was her but it was Shun. I quickly answered.
"Hi.. Shun are you on your way"? i question before he could say hello.
"Um about that. Im sorry babe i cant make it today. "
"Are you serious?" i screamed.. "You know how important this is to me! Why cant you make it? Whatever it is just cancel it!"
"Babe its just dinner at Olive Garden, we have dinner there all the time. I got called into work and i cant miss. We can do dinner another time. Why are you maken such a big deal about this?" he asked.
I didn't say anything. What could i say? I wanna introduce you to my pregnant fiance and tell you Im bi and preg with your baby and want all of us to be one big happy family?? I bet he would miss work then. No. I couldnt say that shit over the phone. I sighed. I cant be acting all weird. That would make him suspicious.
"Im sorry i was just really looking forward to seeing you thats all."
"Well babe ill see you tonight i gotta get back to work".
Without saying a word i hung up. I couldnt let the wrong thing come out. My phone started ringing again and it was him. I declined and made my way out of the car. I guess this will be just a regular dinner with me and Shell. We havent been out in a while so it would be nice. Her appetite was finally back and she was no longer throwing up.
I made my way inside the restaurant carefully thinking what i would say.. I told them both to meet me here because i had something important to say. Now what could I say? I couldnt tell her alone could I? Yes. What was I thinking having them meet up and she knows nothing about him and we been together four years. That would mortify her. Im telling her first.
I looked around and she was sitting in the far back looking at a menu. She was so deep into it that she didnt even notice me sit down.
"Hey baby" I said causing her to jump a little. She smiled at me and reached over and gave me a kiss on the lips. "Hi Ive been waiting, i ordered for us already so lets talk." "Ive been thinking about you all day and what was so important that you had to tell me?"
I took a big gulp of water. Here goes nothing.
"Well first I love you so much. I recently met this-
"Babe"?
My head quickly turned.. And there was Shun.. Standing there with flowers in his hand.
