"So let me get this straight, you've never been with a man?" Shun looked at me in disbelief. But it was true. Ive never had sex with a man in my life. And dont plan on it.
"No Im a LESBIAN. Im not bi like Kenya. Ive never been attracted to a man ever."
"Well how do you know that youre really gay? Yall use dildos and shit right? Why not just try dick"? He asked biting into his burger.
We were at buffalo wild wings getting to know each other. He was a nice guy aside from the fact that we were dealing with the same person.
I just stared at him. He stared back and gave me a warm small and i blushed and looked away. Wtf was that? I wondered? I shook it off and answered his question.
"I just told you Im not attracted to men. I have always known I like girls. I have never even kissed a guy. Ive always been very open growing up and men respect that. Now i have ran across a couple of jerks that have offered me dick just to see would I like it but I shut that down. And yeah we use toys. Not your business what but we do."
He rolled his eyes. He was about to say something when his phone rang. He glanced at it and quickly answered.
"Kenya?"
I tensed up. I cant believe he picked up. She dont even know that we hanging out and I dont want her to. I dont want her to get her hopes up that she gonna have her cake and eat it to. And why was she even calling him? Im her pregnant fiance and I havent heard from her all day!
I could feel myself get jealous as I ear hustled.
"Nothing babe actually Im having lunch with Sh-"
I kicked him hard under the table and shook my head at him. He looked confused but continued.
"Sorry babe let me call you back ok?"
He hung up the phone and whispered yelled at me.
"What the hell was that? She said no more lies and Im not about to lie to her about us having lunch when its innocent."
"Im just not ready for her to know yet. I mean you a cool dude. But be real.. Do you want to share someone for the rest of your life. How will we explain this to the kids? They want be babies forever you know."
"Well two women is not the ideal family either but im sure you will figure out how to explain that right? Im not saying its nothing wrong with it because its not. Its not like these kids about to come into the perfect family. Im just saying."
He was right. But two women and a man? I guess it wouldnt be so difficult since me and him not involved. I looked up and caught him staring at me. I blushed again and cleared my throat.
"Why do you keep staring at me?" I asked curiously.
"Well because you are beautiful."
"Well ummm thanks. But you dont have to stare. Thats very uncomfortable."
"Im sure youre use to it," he said with a wink and I blushed AGAIN.
Before I could say anything the waiter brought the bill to the table. We reached for it at the same time and our hands sort of collided. I felt a spark and yanked my hand back. What the hell was going on?
