The Morning After

Reba woke up and looked at her alarm clock going off, 5:00 AM and she got up and sat up on the bed and checked her phone, there was a message sent by CowboyRonnie during the middle of the night, It had been sent at 2:00 AM. Reba wondered who would be up at that time, she logged on to DateMate 

CowboyRonnie: Hi I know it's late, but I wanted to get this off my chest when I messaged you I didn't expect a reply. I hope we can continue to talk and get to know each other.

Reba replied to CowboyRonnie Reba bit her finger, trying to decide what to say Reba thought for a moment and started to type.

Oklahoma: I'd love to get to know you more, I didn't expect a reply either.

CowboyRonnie:  What would you like to know about me?

Oklahoma: What's a man in his early 30s want with me? 

CowboyRonnie: We had a lot of things in common, I read your bio.

Oklahoma: Like what?

CowboyRonnie: You like hunting and fishing, you also are into writing music, singing and you are also crafty when it comes to DIYs.

Oklahoma: Okay

Reba turned her phone off there was an unsettling feeling in her stomach and she didn't know why she went to the kitchen and turned on the coffee pot and went to the fridge and started gathering ingredients to cook breakfast. Reba started to make a smoothie. The loud sound from the blender woke up Shelby he walked down the hall to the kitchen where he could hear his mother singing.             

" Whats all the singing about" Shelby smiled and walked up to Reba to see what she was making, Reba stopped the blender " Sorry I  didn't mean to wake you " Reba got out two glasses from the cupboard and poured the smoothie into the glasses. Reba handed Shelby his drink and she started drinking hers and sat down at the island counter in the kitchen.

" Mom you aren't telling me something what is it ? ", Reba's phone started to go off you could hear multiple sounds of dinging sounds.

Reba didn't check her messages she wasn't ready to talk to CowboyRonnie yet. " Mom are you going to answer that ?" Reba got up and put her glass in the sink " It's just your Aunt Alice wanting to know what I want her to cook Sunday" Shelby could tell his mother was hiding something he just wasn't sure what.
