"Purgatory?" I ask.
"Yes."
"Purgatory?"
"Yes!" Cas replies.
"Oh my god, we're stuck in Purgatory, Sammy's all alone up there, and I'm in a freakin dress," I say.
"We will get out of here," Dean says confidently.
"Wait, do you guys hear that?" I ask.
Right after I say that, we're being circled. "Fresh meat," one of them says. Vampires. Of course. One of them lunges at me, because I'm unarmed, and Dean cuts his head off with his machete that he had with him. Cas has his own powers, so he's pressing his hand to their heads to kill them. I see a strange looking weapon on the ground, so I pick it up, turn around, and cut off the head of the last one, who happened to be right behind me.
"Where do they go if they're already dead?" I ask no one in particular.
"Doesn't matter," Dean says. "All that matters now is surviving."
*SKIP 7 MONTHS AHEAD*
I wake up in the middle of the night and see Cas still on guard. As an angel, he doesn't sleep, so he watches over Dean and I. We befriended a vampire named Benny, and he's guarding with Cas.I'm now nine months into my pregnancy. Cas told me I'm due in about two weeks. I gave Cas the grace back because he needs all of it. Being in Purgatory has weakened him just a bit.
I lay on my back and look up at the stars. Surprisingly, the night sky in Purgatory is almost exactly like the sky at home. Looking at the moon, I can't help but hope Sam is looking at it too. It's probably not the same one, but it's the same concept. I sing the Bruno Mars song Talking to the Moon in my head. Also, a radio announcer I used to listen to as a kid, named Delilah, used to say whenever you miss someone, look up at the moon and know they're looking at the same one. The black dress got very tight on my baby bump quickly so I took the clothes of a monster I killed, jeans, a flannel, and some shoes that weren't heels.
Suddenly, I feel an extremely sharp pain in my stomach and back. It's so painful that I have to sit up and clutch my stomach.
Cas obviously notices this and asks me, "Y/N, are you okay?" All I can do is shake my head no. Dean wakes up from Cas talking and notices I'm in pain. Benny turns around with a confused look on his face.
"Y/N, what's happening?" Dean asks. Again, no words come out, only a shout of pain.
"I think she's going into labor," Cas says. "Dean, you be the lookout with Benny. I can help her deliver this baby."
"You can take her pain away right?" Dean asks.
"I'm sorry, but I can't this time," he replies.
"What? Why not? All out of angel mojo or something?"
"I'm afraid it's punishment from God, so it's too powerful for me to take away," he says.
"Punishment? Punishment for what? Y/N is one of the greatest girls I know, why would God punish her?"
"It's not what she did. God made childbirth painful for all women because Eve was tricked by the serpent and ate the fruit from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, and God had to punish Adam, Eve, and the serpent."
