The merciless manslayers.

War is terrible;
War was something no one wants to experience.
War is a time of bloodshed, despair, sorrow and darkness.
War had two rules: Kill your opponent, and move on.
This was something Kenshin Himura and Mei Hayashi could do, because it was in their blood.
The two assassins have known each other since their childhood, which is why they stick together like glue.
Both being successors of the Hiten Mitsurugi ultrasonic technique, they left their master, Hiko Seijuro, and joined Katsura Kogoro's clan; The Choshu clan.
And with the flow of years, they became hardened killers.
As young male and female, they do not hesitate to mercilessly to end their opponents' lives.
Kenshin Himura and Mei Hayashi, were two individuals that were to be feared.
However, Kenshin wasn't always his name,
Shinta was, as a young child.
Hiko said that his first name was too soft for a swordsman, and so, Kenshin was born.
During a successful assassination, the two assassins killed a bodyguard named Kiyosato Akira. The encounter with that bodyguard gave Kenshin a cut on his cheek.

Their tale is a bloody one, one which contains despair, sorrow, Trust and Betrayal.
