While I was out getting some medicine I also picked up some clothes, I felt uncomfortable knowing he was naked and wanted to sort that problem out, I just got cheap jeans that I hope was long enough for his legs, a pair of second hand boots and a white t-shirt, it was summer so the warm breeze didn’t require layers of clothes just as well because I have nearly finished my pocket money that Suriya left me. I wouldn’t ask him for the money back, he probably doesn’t have any himself.

As I was doing my shopping I kept thinking about him, I had some really wild ideas, what if he was stealing something? What if he trashed the place and left? He didn’t seem like a bad person, but you never can tell. He scared me, in a sort of unsettling way, it was like every time he looked at me he was mocking me, even his smile was intimidating, and it was made me feel weak. He was also dodgy, not wanting to go to the clinic to get a check-up and giving me unclear answers. But he sure was beautiful, I couldn’t help smiling. I didn’t have much experience with guys; I believed in true love and am waiting for my prince charming. I have only had one boyfriend but he left me because I wouldn’t put out, I was saving myself till marriage, if only I could find a guy that looked like Arman and was understanding, soft hearted and loved me, maybe one day.

If Suriya was here she would freak out and she’s the smart, responsible one. I wasn’t sure how I was going to tell her, she would surely have a go at me for even letting him inside, but I did and it was the right thing to do. I just hope she doesn’t come back early, once I help him out and send him on his way then I will have some peace and quiet and try to sort out my own life.

When I got back he was nowhere to be found, I searched all over, calling out his name. I was having a panic attack my body was heating up, I knew it, he stole something and left, I was in the process of checking the safe when I heard

“Mya, you didn’t tell me.”

I whipped around it was Kristie, she lived down the road, and she was now standing here with a massive smile on her face.

“What?” I snapped, oh god Suriya is going to kill me, why did let him in? I felt dizzy; however Kristie was oblivious to my distress and carried on.

“Your friend, he is so gorgeous, where did you find him? Where have you been hiding him?” she quizzed me.

I sighed, he hadn’t left. I calmed myself than asked her. “Where is he?”

“Outside, in your backyard.”

I made my way through to the door, while Kristie trailed after me, rambling on about why he was half naked? That he was beautiful, where was he from?  Ughh please stop talking, I wanted her to leave so I could sort out my problem.

“Kristie, I need to speak to him alone, would it be alright if you came back later, please?”

“Oh, okay” she answered, she looked disappointed and dejected, I was never rude like that, but he put me on the edge and he asked me not to tell anybody, so why was he making a spectacle of himself? When she left I walked outside and sighed, there he was leaning on my sisters apple tree, with a brooding look as his face was turned up to the sky, I took my fill of him, he still had blanket around his hips tied in a knot, his body was glistening from his shower, his hair curled around his temples and he looked healthier than last night, he had colour now whereas he was ashen before. Swiftly his head dropped and he looked straight at me, my breath caught in my throat.  He sauntered forward till he was a metre away from me, still with a brooding look.
