“I just need to go to the ladies.”  I said as I wobbled my way over to the toilet. We had been driving for four hours with no break, so when he finally pulled up to the café, I had to pray I wouldn’t wet myself before I made. I should have just asked him to stop but he looked like he might bite my head off, what little conversation we did have he replied with grunts, so I left it. I realised he was constantly in a bad mood. I walked back into the café only to see Arman flirting with the young waitress, he had a beautiful smile plastered on his face, and the waitress was definitely interested as she leaned forward and whispered something in her ear. Well if he can be friendly, why can’t he show me the same? I stalked over to the table with a purpose. I slid into the opposite bench but they both didn’t even bother to look up, with a cheeky smile I stared at Arman as I spoke.

“Oh darling, the toilets here are dreadful, such a mess and the smell is absolutely repulsive. They need to get better help immediately. ” I spoke with a hoity reserve and turned my head to look outside. I heard the waitress draw a breath in, she probably wanted to take a hammer to my head, and I also heard Arman choke on his coffee. Good, I’m not fool.

“What do you want to drink?” Arman asked irritated.

“Just some orange juice please.” I replied with a stupid smile. After she left Arman turned his intensely annoyed eyes onto me.

“Why did you say that?”

“Because it’s the truth.”

“It was unnecessary.”

“Its still the truth.”

“Why did you really say it?”  I ignored him for a while before answering.

“Why were you so friendly with her?”

“You can’t answer my question with a question.”

“I just did.”

“Are you jealous?” he smirked, I stared at him appalled.

“It’s just I can’t stand your bubbly and brilliant personality anymore.” I replied sarcastically, he narrowed his eyes but I just carried on sipping my juice.

“That’s how I am.”

“Obviously not with people like her.”

“People like her don’t talk as much as you do.”

“I’m just saying it would be nice if you could smile at me like you did with her.”

“Well I would if you were offering the same thing as she was offering.” At first I didn’t understand than my blood was boiling and I couldn’t control what came out of my mouth.

“Your such a jerk.” I gulped the rest of my juice and stomped outside to wait by the truck rather than with him. When he came back out, he still had a smirk so my comment didn’t hurt as much as I thought, as he opened the door he asked.

“Absolutely repulsive, where did you learn to speak like that?”

“England.” With that I sat inside and turned my head towards the window, I didn’t want to talk to an insufferable jerk anyways.

“OH MY GOD! My jumper, I left it behind at the café.” We have been driving for forty minutes, I stretched over to the back of the truck and it wasn’t there and now I am having a panic attack, that was the only item of clothing I had which belonged to my mother.
