Emma's POV:

What the hell are you doing em? I thought to myself as I strode up to golds classroom and knocked on the door.

*knock knock knock*

"Come in!" Gold shouted from the other side of the door, damn it I was hoping he wouldn't be in so that I could just push the letter under the door.
I nervously walked in and shuffled up to golds desk at the front of the classroom.

"Miss swan? I didn't expect to see you," Gold looks shocked, he probably thought I'd run away... again.
"I thought I should come and apologise for yesterday.... I shouldn't have raised my voice and lost my temper and for that I am sorry," i actually meant that but... "however... I will not apologise for the things I said, you do not know me or how I have grown up and I can promise you one thing, if I didn't want to be here... I wouldn't be."
I waited for him to say something
"I like you miss swan... you're the only person here who is strong enough to tell me what you really think and I admire that," thank god for that "but I also have a school to run and if I let you off completely free then people will see me as picking favourites so I'm sorry Emma but I'm going to have to think of a punishment," he informed me but at least I could stay here.

He gestured for me to leave so I walked towards the door with a huge grin plastered on my face
"Oh and Emma!" He called to me and I turned around to see what he was saying "next time... don't get caught," he smiled and then looks back down at a textbook.
I laughed to myself and bit my lip as I left so he wouldn't see my smile.

"Well good morning to you lady Emma," August ran up to me and twirled me around
"It's actual a great morning lord August," I giggle and played along
"Oh my god did Emma hardcore swan just giggle and smile???" August placed his hand over his mouth and acted shocked "someone needs to capture this moment quickly before it fades!"
"Oh ha ha!" I faked laughed "very funny timber man," I teased, pushing at his shoulder
"Sorry I couldn't help myself?" He laughed and the pulled me along to our first lesson "so why is today so great?"
"I got caught sneaking out," I began but like always he interrupted, he stopped in his tracks and stood in front of me
"Wait what?! Emma I thought I told you..."
"Stop!" I placed my hand over his mouth to stop his rambling and then carried on my story "and Gold let me off with a punishment instead,"
"I didn't realise you liked the kinky stuff," he winked and laughed
"Eww!" I creased my forehead and tried to shake the images away "bad images bad images!"
"What kind of punishment?" He grabbed my head with his hands to stop me shaking it
"He said he needs to think about it," I explained as we started walking again.

The whole walk to class August told me about all the 'punishments' he'd heard about people getting, seriously this was kind of dampening my mood rather then lifting it, apparently some girl got caught with the cooks recipe book last term and she had to clean the plug holes in the cafeteria, ew I don't think I'd be able to do it without gagging to be honest.

We walked into class and I noticed that Killian was sat on his own in the back,
"Hey August lets sit down at the back today," I told him pulling him towards the cute new sailor... I mean killian.
"But what about The others?" He asked
"They all stayed out a little too late last night and they are suffering," I laughed and then sat down at Killian's table.
He looked up and smiled when he saw me but also raised his eyebrows like he hadn't expected to see me... or maybe he didn't want to see me?
"Emma?" He questioned "I thought you were with mr gold?" He asked
"I was but we resolved the issue pretty fast so I decided to come to class," I informed him and I couldn't really concentrate because he was doing that thing with his eyes again and my insides were burning. I could also feel Augusts eyes burning into my skull
"Yep and I would have killed her if she abandoned me," August chipped in and broke our staring contest.

Something changed in Killian's eyes when he saw August, it was almost as if something had burnt out inside of them, was he disappointed?
"Oh sorry, August this is Killian he just moved here, Killian this is my friend August," I made sure I put the friend statement in there strongly so he knew and I think he got it because as I said it he smiled at August and then the flames inside his eyes returned.
"Nice to meet you," Killian nodded at him
"The pleasure is all mine," August almost drooled so I kicked his shin under the table and he clenched his jaw and shot me and evil look but he broke it and stared at Killian again.
"Interesting accent you've got there, where's it from?" He asked and placed his chin on his hand like a flirty thirteen year old girl so I rolled my eyes, it wasn't in jealousy though.
"Erm, here there and everywhere," Killian laughed
"Where is that?" August obviously wasn't listening so I had to bite my lip to stop myself from laughing,

"Can Killian jones please report to the principals office?" A voice came threw the intercom

"Well that's me, nice to meet you August, I'll see you later Emma," he smiled at us and left the class, damn it whys he have to leave why couldn't they take August? I love August but sometimes he's way too much of a cockblock or vaginablock or whatever you get the point.

I watched as he strolled away and he smiled and waved before he left and my ovaries did a few somersaults.

"Claimed!" August squealed as he left
"What?" I laughed
"I claimed him before you could!" He teased
"I don't think he bats for your team," I laughed
"Did he tell you if he was a batter or a baller?" August Carried on the metaphor and made my brain hurt
"No," I replied, I think that's the right answer but I'm not even sure on the question
"Well then how do you know?" He teased
"I saw him first," I laughed at how competitive august had become
"So you want to claim him?" August raised his eyebrows suggestively and I rolled my eyes, I don't know do I?
"No! I'm just saying that..." I began
"Fine, you can have him," August sighed and stuck his tongue out at me
"Well that was rude!" I grabbed my heart dramatically
"Ye well I just lost the love of my life to my best friend!" He fake cried and wobbled his chin
"Oh please you said like two things to him and I'm pretty sure you were practically unconscious because your input on the conversation was really irrelevant!" I scoffed
"Ye well his eyes were hypnotising me," he laughed
I can't say I disagree really!

"So do you like him?" August nudged me with his elbow
"He's nice," I avoided his question,
"Do you think he's nice as in he can lend you a pen if you need it or do you think he's nice as in you want him to put his pencil in your sharpener?" He wiggles his eyebrows
"Seriously?!" I laughed "what is it with you and your metaphors today?"
"Well?" He pushed
"I hate talking about stuff like this can we just drop it?" I shifted in my seat uncomfortably
"You don't like it because you're not used to it!" He carried on pushing and I was getting really annoyed
"Nope, I don't like it because I don't like it," I corrected him
"Come on Emma i know that you've never had anyone to talk to before but..."
"Oh so now everyone knows my life story? Can someone please tell me because apparently everyone else knows my life better then I do!" I snapped and stormed out.
"Emma swan!" the teacher called out to me but I just kept going, I know August was just joking but I hated it when people said they knew things that they really didn't.

I walked back to my room and found that the boys weren't on the sofa anymore, I poked my head around snows door and she was fast asleep, I checked on Regina and I saw Robin cuddled up to her in bed. I hope they didn't do anything stupid!

I walked back into my room and collapsed onto my bed, what is wrong with me lately? I keep snapping at people and these weird feeling towards Killian... I'm probably near my time of the month.
