Louis P.O.V

When I wake up I have a headache and see I'm in the backseat of Danielle's truck. I sit up and wince. I touch my forehead and feel something wet. I pull my hand back down and see blood.

What the hell happened last night? I look at the truck again then remember, I got knocked out. "Dani?" I ask and climb out of the truck. I look around and see her passed out on the ground. I run up to her and pick her up. She flutters her eyes open and looks at me.

"Shit." She mutters and touched her head. "Why does my head hurt? And why's it bleeding?" She asks.

"No clue, someone knocked me out, I didn't see their face though," I tell her as I put her in the passenger set of the truck. I get into the driver seat of her truck and see a note...

'You were pretty drunk last night, didn't want you to go too far.'

I hand it to Danielle, who furrows her eyebrows. "Who's this from?" She asks and I shrug.

"No clue, recognize the writing?" I ask her and she gives me an 'Are you stupid look'.

"What?" I ask defensively.

"It's typed." She says blankly.

"I'm still half asleep," I tell her and turn in the truck.

"Excuses, excuses." She shakes her head.

"What's today?" I yawn.

"Saturday." She tells me and I smile.

"Good," I reply and she turns her head to look at me. I feel her watching me and try to hold back a smile.

"Take a picture, it'll last longer." I smile and she takes out her phone.

"Okay, smile." She says and I face her and smile, but before she takes the picture I pull a funny face and she takes the picture. "Nice." She says sarcastically. She shows me the picture and I laugh.

"I'm beautiful," I say and drive to her house. When we get there I park the car and head inside to her parents.

"I'm home!" She sings as we take off our shoes.

"Joy." Her mother says sarcastically.

"We'll be in my room." She says flatly and I follow her to her room.

"You really don't like your parents, do you?" I ask her.

"You're one to talk." She says to me and sits on her bed.

"Touché." Is all I reply.

"It doesn't seem like we're dating. It seems more like we're really good friends, which is what I want. We can date but you can still be my friend." She smiles at me slightly.

"It does, and I like it that way too." I smile back and there's a knock at her door and her dad walks in.

"We're going out, see you tomorrow afternoon." He says and then leaves.

"He doesn't tell you where they're going or what they're doing?" I chuckle and she shakes her head.

"No." She replies and I sit next to her on the bed. "I hate this house." She adds.

"I turn 18 in a week," I tell her.

"Really?" She asks, shocked.

"Um, yeah."

"When's your birthday?" She asks, a smile tugging her lips.

"December 24," I mumble.

"You're birthday is on Christmas Eve?" She asks excitedly.

"Yes," I confirm.

"Well then. Wait, I haven't gotten my tattoo yet! We were supposed to do that a couple days ago." She remembers.

"Oh yeah. Let's go now." I say and she literally runs down the stairs and puts her shoes on. We get into to her truck and I drive her there. When we get there it's empty.

"Hello, ID please." She asks and I hand her both Dani and I's fake IDs. The very tattooed lady asks, "Do you know what you're getting?"

"I'm getting music notes, on my shoulder," Dani says from my left.

"Okay, and you?" She asks me.

"A motorcycle," I say.

"Okay, that will be $145." She says and I hand her a $100 and $50 bill and she gives me back $5. I go into the room with Danielle and sit down. This should be interesting.
