I shouted, but all you heard was a whisper

A whisper

A murmur

And you said,

A shout

A scream

But i didn't believe you

You saw me cry for the second time

First, pity

Second, doubt

Anxiety

Loneliness

I felt left behind

You all ran and i walked

I shouted

A whisper

But then i stopped

Because i was tired

Tired in pretending that i could keep up

Then you waited for me

Eventhough i was just a whisper

You looked back

You saw me

You smiled and took my hand

And pulled me

I was a whisper

But you heard me

You told me to step into a world

And leave my own

My dark world

I was a whisper

But you, my friend

You heard me
