Not a poem but an excerpt of a story I won't write.

She looked at her beautiful reflection on the mirror as she applied the bright red lipstick on her sensuous lips.

With that, she was ready. She grabbed her purse on the nightstand and her summer hat on the bed.

She stared at her appearance on the mirror one last time.

She wore a cream colored summer dress that flowed down to her knee and grey strapped sandals. With a smile, she went out of her room.

Her heels clicked against the wooden floor, the sound echoing through of the empty hallway.

Before she left, she posted a note on her door.

Gone for a vacation. Will be back soon.
